Meora suddenly pawed at Aerin's leg. Something had caught the attention of the dog.
Look... over there. Is that a human lying over there, in that junkyard?
Aerin gasped involuntarily. Indeed, there was a man lying on the trash in the nearby junkyard. His clothes were tattered, but even brand-new they surely would have not looked like anything from this world. But what had made Aerin gasp was... the man looked as if he was dying.
