Brandon decided to tae up on the offer of watching the girl. "I'm Brandon, guardian of the Nature Gem. And you are...?" he began as he approached her. ((I would like to point out, if you are talking to Eny, that the little girl can't really recognize anything around her. She's mumbling and her eyes are unfocussed... Probably being corrupted by Haroo or something.)) |

Kae realized she couldn't do anything with her powers, other than stop anyone from dying. Which was useless, really, when someone was dying with a lot of pain with no healer around. She said to Nadia, "I'm going inside. I can't do anything here, sadly." Turning around, she opened the door to find Brandon.
"Well, why isn't Mr. Nature God helping? Scared?" she asked sarcastically.

Brandon glared. "Well, the fires practically out, and leaving her to just sit there isnt a good idea." He turned to lok at her and noticed she was making no movement. He walked over and waved his hand in fornt of her face, with no response. |

Jade had almost put all the environning flames out, and she was starting to feel she had overdone it. Generating gallons and gallons of water at an almost impossible speed was very demanding, even if she was the one with the greatest power over water. Okay, Jade, you gotta get back to the other side now.
Jade sighed, and dove into the freezing water. She swam, and thanked the water spirits for helping her keep her strength.
She got to the other side, and got out of the water, soaking wet. "Nadia, where's Brandon? And Kae?"
"They went inside, they're taking care of that little girl-- Eny, I think." Nadia replied.
Jade nodded, closed her eyes and became fully dry. She stepped inside. "Can I help you two?" she asked.

Eny continued to mumble; her gem was changing colors. There were sounds around her, and some blurry figures, but she couldn't recognize any of it. She wished her sister could help her, but she didn't know where the older girl was. Something strange had happened after another girl around Nokuas age had made the shadow-things move about in the wind. Eny didn't know what it meant. A new voice was in her head, convincing her of something she had to do.
Obediant to the voice, Eny stood up and hurled herself at Brandon, trying to choke him with her small hands. He had to be killed. All with "good" gems had to be exterminated if they were not going to join the side of Haroo.
((Ha ha. A 9-year-old has been brought over to the dark side. This'd be funny if it weren't so...um... serious?))

Jade rushed over to the girl, pulling her hands off Brandon's neck. "Brandon, try not to hurt her while defending yourself; she's not always been like that." she said. She had seen the girl before, and she knew Eny was innocent. "Stay here, I'll go get help."
Jade ran outside, leaving the door ajar. "Nadia! Obrai! Everyone! Eny's acting wierd, she tried to strangle Brandon!" she exclaimed in a worried tone. "Her gem changed color too..." she added in a more ushered voice.
Nadia's eyes widened with the thought of a little girl strangling someone. "I'm coming right now." she said. She did as she had said, and hurriedly went inside, closely followed by her sister.
Nadia looked at Eny, and her look came upon her gem, which was now pitch black. "This isn't good." She looked up at the cieling. "Curse you, Haroo!" she yelled.

"Well, it worked on Jade, so I'll try to hit her with some light..." He took his staff and held it to her gem, and concentrated on using all his light power to focusing onto and into the gem. |

"I think I should help too." Nadia added, creating a light beam and shooting it straight into Eny's gem, though not thinking it would help. She was being controlled by the most powerful villain on the planet; a mere light beam, or maybe even two, would certainly not be enough to free the girl from her current phase.
Jade looked at the poor Eny, worried and frightened. Haroo had the best plans when it came to controlling innocent minds. It would take a lot of time and power to get hte girl back to her own self, and rid Haroo from her mind.

Eny let out a shrill scream. She needed to kill these people, but they held her back. Her body wasn't strong enough to do anything.
The young girl felt white-hot pain on her forehead; beams of light were shooting at it. She let out another scream, although it sounded more like a whistle. The sound of many fluttering wings could be heard from inside the cabin...
((Birds have either come to help Eny do her terrible deed, or to try and get her out of her trance... Maybe both))

Birds were filling the cabin, trying to protect their "master"((I really need to get better vocabulary...)). They pecked and bit everyone in the cabin, except Eny.
"No...wait! Stop!" Jade exclaimed, trying to keep a distance from the birds, but in vain. "The light is hurting her; she's too young to endure the pain. I, myself, could almost not bare it. We have to find a way to attack Haroo, but not hurt her."
She needs to see someone whom she trusts, someone who can talk her out of this. Jade thought. Yet again, she ran outside. "Nokua!" she exclaimed. "We need you to talk your sister out of this mess!"
Nadia stopped shooting light to Eny, while trying to ignore the birds. "Calm down, little 'un." she murmured to Eny. "We're trying to help you. Please, at least have a little bit of trust in us..."
Her miserable attempt to comfort the girl wouldn't be enough, she was sure. They had just attacked her with a powerful beam of light, burning the gem part of her forehead. If Nadia were a little girl, she wouldn't trust people whom had hurt her before.
"I know it seems like we're all against you right now, but we're not. I won't hurt you anymore, little 'un..."
She pulled a golden chain from her neck. A shining sun was the only charm on it. This is the only souvenir I have from mother. Ever since I've left her and Jade, I've worn it. I poured my life, my emotions, my powers, my thoughts out while wearing this necklace. It's my lucky charm, my protection. It's my way of gaining this girl's trust now.
Nadia dropped the charm into Eny's hands. "Here," she said, a big lump forming in her throat. "I want you to keep this. It's my way of promising I won't hurt you. You can attack me now, I don't think there's a risk to that..."
