"The pearl sword! It was powerful last time I checked...." Nadia replied sarcastically.
"Why don't we both summon our sword? Double the swords, double the power." Jade proposed.
They both looked at eachother and nodded.
"By the goddess of thousand suns, I call for the sword of opal!"
"I call upon Jehn-Rahg! Send me the sword of pearl!"
The two swords appeared in their hands. Nadia's had a golden hilt instead of a silver one and an opal instead of a pearl, but the swords were the same except for these two details.
Eny came outside, and so did Nokua. While Nadia started creating light beams and shooting them at the Dark Knight, Jade asked Nokua, "How'd she wake up so soon? Did you give her some kind of medicine or something?"

The Black Knight swiped it aside. "Don't you think it might take more then that to take me? I'm Haroo, the all powerful's brother. And this is what I think of you!" ((Okay, now I'm just plain getting ideas from Kingdom Hearts)) Hovering over his gigantic hand, was a giant dark orb. He slammed it on the ground, and a huge ripple of a dark wave went past the ground. "Jump when it comes to you!" Jan shouted.

Nokua looked at Jade with shock and fear. She wasn't afraid of Jade, goodness no, she was afraid what was happening. "She..whispered something like 'Master has come' after she woke up. Her gem's been changing colors rapidly."
Eny continued on her way towards the Black Knight, grinning from ear to ear.

"Jade, Nokua, Whitney, Jan, Mai!" Clay shouted, "I read a myth like this in a book! I'm pretty sure he's almost invincible, but we need to go to Clearbrook Village! And before sunset!"

Both Jade and Nadia jumped over the wave when it came to their feet.
"Before sunset? Hurry up then!" Jade exclaimed.

"What you think about me, huh? Is that all you're capable of?" Nadia asked the Dark Knight. She knew it would probably cause him to reveal his true power, but she wanted to keep him busy while the others would get to the village. She was probably best-suited for the job, as her light powers were the best against darkness.

Nokua was in a shocked trance, barely hearing the words of Jan. Over and over, she kept saying, "Eny..."
She didn't notice when the dark wave hit her head on.

"Clay and Jade! Go to the well! Find whatever Clay's talking about while Mai, Whitney and I try to help the others and fight these jerk!" says Jan. Clay runs off into the woods. "Come on, Jade, there isn't much time!"

Jade followed Clay almost mechanically. She didn't feel right letting her sister and friends behind, but decided it would probably be best.

They finally arrived in Clearbrook Village. It was almos pitch silent, except a mystical sound. "Everyone here disappears at night. It's mysterious. I used to live here." They approached a wide well and looked down in it. It was made up of floating colours. "This is the secret of Clearbrook. I used to play in there when I was a little kid. It's not just a well--it's a portal. To a different world. First it leads to an underwater tunnel, which is covered with shiny blue crystal-like minerals. My brother told me that it was said to fend off spirits within the mind. I was also told not to go beyond that tunnel, so I have no clue what's in there." Clay dives in.

Jade hesitated a while, but then dove in the well as well(that sounded wierd...).
