CrazyWriter / Peanut! You aren't really doing anything!!!!
I keep trying to ask you questions and stuff ... and you're kind of just there...
IC: Gwen started, dumbfounded. "I swear! It wasn't me! I heard footsteps, and opened the door. Nothing happened, I didn't hurt her! There would've been a thumping noise if a body feel to the floor, but we - I - didn't hear anything!!! Honest!" She hoped Marie believed her, as Gwen wasn't even sure if she would believe herself.

Marie glared at Gwen.
"Then how do you explain the bit of blood I can see in Joan's hair? Why are you the only one to appear to have their wand out? Why are you the one closest to that door?" she pointed to the bathroom stall door that was hanging by one of its hinges. Marie continued to glare at Gwen, Joanie's head in her lap.

Gwen was in shock. "I heard somebody there, and I was talking about some ..." she tried to blush, hoping it would work "...personal stuff. I don't want anybody to know, so I used expelliarmus on the door, and that girl kind of fell out. I SWEAR it wasn't me! I think somebody was here earlier who's got it in for that girl, because it wasn't me; I don't even know here, why would I hate her? Please, Marie, you've got to believe me." she pleaded.

"Oh, so you didn't cause that door to knock Joan back into the wall, causing her to pass out?" Marie said sarcastically, "I don't blame you for trying to keep your secrects, but couldn't you have just asked her not to repeat whatever she heard?"

Gwen moaned. "Honestly, it wasn't me. There's not much else I can say. I would have heard her flump against the door or something once I blasted it. She would be freshly flopping around when I saw her, but when I walked in, she was already on the ground, and looked as if she had been there for several hours." She saw something curious on the girl's head. She knelt down and examined it.
"Dried blood...." She said slowly as she examined a strange mark on the girl's head. It was a very deep wound, and looked as if it had clotted itself over several hours of inactivity. Gwen examined the stall, and saw blood on the toilet paper, and a large puddle on the floor, which were all dry and hard. "Obviously been there for several hours ... Unless you're saying I can speed up time drasticly, I think that the case is closed; the girl was in the stall, got up, whacked her head on something, fell to the ground, and stayed there for a few hours."

Marie looked at Gwen and sighed, "I'm sorry. I tend to get caught up in the momment, if you know what I mean. Does...does it look like anyone attacked her at all? Are you positive she didn't just slip or something?" Tears were starting to form in her eyes. Too many things had been happening in the past few days, and the prospect of her friend being attacked would only give Marie more stress; more things to think about. It was almost like the time she had gotten that letter from Scuff, her grandfather's Diricawl, saying that Stuart Keaves ((aka Grandfather Stuart)) had come down with some horrible disease.

{*Re-attaches mouse hand after latest kitten attack* Sorry I haven't posted for a while.... on Thursday I was traveling almost all day, Friday I didn't have access to a computer, Sat&Sun I was playing Knights of the Old Republic on my brother's XBox, then Monday I was cleaning up the house all day, and yesterday I didn't know what to post. Busy long weekend...}
After a while I calmed down a bit, enough to think rationally. I had to tell Dumbledore. I would probably get into a lot of trouble, but once he examined the stone for a little while, I would probably be able to keep out of Azkhaban, and also still be able to go to Hogwarts, instead of expelled.
Just then I noticed voices outside my hiding place. They'd probably been there for a while, but I only just noticed them now.
"Budum," I whispered, tapping the wall beside the crack with my wand and stepping out to find Gwen and Marie beside a girl. She looked... dead.
I gasped. My mind reeled. What had they done? I felt queasy. My knees buckled, my legs turned to jelly, and I had to hold onto the door of a stall in order to stay up.

Gwen was relieved. "It's okay, I forgive you. Really, I should thank you. I don't think I'd believe myself if the situation was reversed. And it looks like she just slipped, and she's out cold. She should be okay after a few more hours. My mom was a doctor." she explained hastily. She heard a squeal, and turned around, and found Shae leaning against a stall. Gwen rushed up to her. "Shae!" she cried. She looked deep into her eyes, and found a lot of worry and conern, and pent-up stress. Shae's eyes strayed to the body on the floor. "It's okay, Shae, she fell down and has a cut on her head. It wasn't you, it wasn't me, it was an accident. Now, are you feeling any better?"

I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I whispered, and shakily got up.
"I've gotta see Dumbledore," I told her softly. "I have to tell him. I have to."
I wasn't exactly sure what I was saying. The girl on the floor had shaken me quite a bit, and with the memory of what I'd done... I shook my head to get rid of the picture.
"He can help," I said forcefully. "He can do something about this. He can get rid of the stone. He can make me innocent. He can..." I didn't say any more, just pushed past her, towards the door. I wasn't sure what I was doing anymore; it seamed as if nothing was real, as if nothing mattered but getting to Dumbledore.
{Sort of like she's in a trance, if you didn't get that from what I wrote.}

Marie watched the girl who had appeared to have come from nowhere ((Shae)). Nothing she was saying was making sense, but that didn't matter right now. It wasn't the best thing to go snooping into others' business.
The 5th year then looked down at her friend and sighed. She tried to pick up Joan, but only managed to get one of her arms around her shoulder. This would take a while, that was for sure. But... If anyone saw her, then they might assume that Marie had done something awful. If Marie went to get Prof. Sprout, then that'd surely call attention too.
"Erm... Could someone please help me get Joan up to the Hospital Wing please?"

Gwen was shocked; Shae was facing some very hard consequences if she turned herself in to Dumbledore. However, the consequences would probably be even better if Shae let the stone controll her. Gwen simply stared at Shae as she left. Gwen shook her head, and shouted after Shae "Are you sure you know what you're doing?" However, Gwen didn' run after Shae; it was Shae's choice, and hers alone.
She turned to Marie. "Yeah, sure, it's the least I can do since you believed me..." She picked up the girl's feet, and waited for Marie to pick up her head. "Fastest route to the Hospital Wing is through the painting of the pickle on the 2nd floor..."

Marie picked up the torso of Joan, relieved that Gwen was helping. She smiled nevously at Gwen, "After 4 years of going to school here, I never once noticed a painting of a pickle..."

Gwen smiled. "I think it skips every other year. Trouble making, I mean. Fred and George, Harry, Moony Wormtail Padfoot and Prongs, me ... I'm not trying to even compare myself to those pranking geniuses, but ... I do have a knack for that sort of thing." She winked, and began walking backwards. "I know my way around here better than FIlch himself, I think."

((Heh heh... took too long ^-^;;; ))
Brandon saw Shae looking worried dashing out of the bathroom.
"Hey -" he started, but figured she hadnt heard him.
Having nothing better to do, he decided to follow her, and tell her about the boy.

Mercy had been silent in a corner, behind the door, throughout the whole conversation. At Gwen's last comments, she stepped out from the space and asked, "Can I help? I'm not a snitch or anything, I swear, so don't think I'm gonna run to Dumbledore... Oh, and I think you're right about the trouble thing, although I think it skips a few years." She smiled slightly, appropriate for the occasion.
"Or if you don't need my help carrying... I can sense danger easily, especially with cats. It'll be hard for you guys to see, carrying her. And to ward off those who would say something."
