((Same here...wierd. I guess we'll have to continue it here.))
Kira looked at the stars. "They're called stars...beautiful, isn't it?" she said in a soft, calm voice.

{Well, when I went back a few pages to see if I could post (the post button was up) it said the topic was locked... Can mods accidentially lock subjects?}

{Well, when I went back a few pages to see if I could post (the post button was up) it said the topic was locked... Can mods accidentially lock subjects?} ((They can, but the icon would appear as a folder ith a lock in front, and it doesn't. For me at least. All it says for me is that noone was the last one to reply, and when I click on it, there's no reply button at the top or at the bottom, and no quote button anywhere.))

Kira looks at Marcus and smiles. "It's good to see someone who can actually appreciate such simple but beautiful things." she said.

"Simple? Stars are naught but simple... I never knew there were this many. Just the 2 on Fytallas... You know, most of my planet is in perpetual day. Night is only viewed in small parts of the world..."
He looks up, and sees some of his hair, "I'll have to get used to red..."

"That's sad. Night is the only time I can actually think about important things. That is, when I was back home..." she sighed.

"Where is your home?"
He looks happy, but at the same time sad, "My dream was to see night... I never thought I would get the chance. I don't think I got your name..."

Maia nodded her head slightly. She continued thrusting Marcus' pike, all the while trying to keep an even center of balance. She stepped outside to the darkness. She hid a slight smile; night was her favourite time. She walked over to the fairy and Marcus, and stared at the stars.

Kira looked at the ground ahead, and looked back at the stars. "In the Dominican Republic; probably miles and miles away from here. My name's Kira. I'm not sure I got your name either..."

Dragus continues to cook random things. He than starts to talk.
"The reason I didn't kill the man, is because I hate killing. I have yet to stain my sword with the blood of a dead man. Shanala feels the same way."
Dragus leaves a few pots boiling and walks into the other room. He pushes several tables together, and pushes chairs to them. He than makes the table. He walks back into the kitchen.
"Years ago in a war, I was one of the best killers in Japan. I was only 14 than. I continued to fight in the war, untill I found the egg of Shanala, at the age of 15. Once she hatched, something changed within me. I vowed never to kill again... And I never have."
He stirs something in a pot, and checks something in the brick oven.
"Well, dinner is almost ready."
Shanala gets up from the corner and walks to the other room.

"Dominican Republic... I wish I could say I knew what you were talking about... My name is Marcus..."
He looks to Maia, "By the way, Maia, your done for today. Be ready, in the morning, your real training begins."
He walked over, and took the pike from her hands, "You're a natural. If you can keep this pace, you should buy a pike yourself!"

"Well, that only makes one of us. I like it here. Sure, tea is nasty, but you have night, and they aren't... Controlled. There are more than a few left..."
He trails off, staring into space, no longer noticing the stars.
