Maia was walking down a deserted back alley; hey, it was late at night. Maia had heard there were several good fencers and sword fighters here. Maia walked up to an inn, and saw an odd scene. She quickly muttered a word and her cloak became black as the night. She ducked into the shadows. There before her, she saw several dead bodies; Ninjas, obviously, and two boys: one looked 12 or 13, and the other about 15. She saw a dagger in the hand of the older one standing there confidently, but the younger, more nervous one had a sword. Maia saw him unsheath it, and was wondering if he would need to test his skill. Only then did she see the demon advancing on the younger one. (OOC: I did get that right, didn't I?)

Rina finally arrived in the town, early in the morning. It was just as she had imagined: Dead bodies, lots of blood, destruction... She had seen the same in other towns.
Hopping onto the roof of a building - and hoping no one would confuse her for a ninja - she looked down at a scene below. Two boys, one older than she was, one her age, were standing around dead bodies. Below, a demon. The demon was the main problem.
Of course, these people probably could handle it. They didn't need her help.
Suddenly, the roof below her (ooc: wood roof?) cracked (ooc: or whatever a roof would do to break), falling down into the house below. A ninja must have weakened it. She leaped down off the building, but by now the others must have noticed her.

OOC: *ahem* One of the abilites of a thief is to Hide In Shadows. Oopsies, guess I shoudl've put that in my bio. But you don't see me, okay?
IC:
Maia noticed a girl hop onto a roof in a single bound .... somehow. She noticed her scanning the scene before her. Suddenly, she fell. Quick as lightning, Maia noticed the disruption, and did a fast sidestep. The girl fell just to the right of where Maia had been standing. Maia moved further back into the shadows. Now this will really get interesting. Definitely a chance for the sworded one to prove if he's good enough to teach me.

Okay, I've been lazy enough for today, thought Kira, getting up and walking towards the village. When she got to a small yard, she took out a bow and arrows, and started shooting at a wooden target before her. Every time, she hit the middle, and soon got bored of it. She put the bow and one of her arrows down, and walked towards a small cottage-like house. She came in and went to her bedroom. She took out a thick, old book with wierd scriptures on it and opened it, releasing a cloud of dust in the air. "*cough* Boy, it's been a long time since I *cough* haven't read the history of fairies." she said, looking at the wierd signs.
After an hour of reading the history book, she closed it and sat on her bed, thinking about what happened earlier. She closed her eyes to try and recreate the scene, and a few minutes later, she opened them to find that she was in a small, dark building. Not again, she thought to herself as she heard some voices and hid behind a table, though she knew she was going to be found sooner or later.

((I wasn't 'advancing' on the guy-I'm sitting on my heels beside a dead ninja who I'd just killed for sticking a poisoned blade into a wound that had never truly went away. Also, I would look younger than the other guy. Didn't you read my profile? He's three feet tall, guys!))
I looked up at the knight who had spoken, and stood up, nearly crying out at the spot of pain on my back.
"You needn't have your sword out, knight. My name is Leokinazzen Twinstar Dragonsoul-I am merely a boy like yourself, only I had the fortune to be raised by dragons," I told him. I left out the part that I had been banished, and prayed he didn't know how to speak the ancient tounge of the dragons-If he could, he'd recognize kinazzen as Kinna Zen-Banished One.

Kira accidentally knocked down a chair beside her, causing a loud clanking noise. "Darn...", she whispered to herself, trying to become more unnoticed.

Ajenn: I'm alive. Sir Edward (who is like 40) and a ninja are the ones who're dead. Sir Edward is inside the inn and its morning.
Misslynx: Yeah, everything in the medieval days was wood pretty much.

Brandon kept his cool and bravened a little. The demon thoguht HE was a knight! "Yeah, right, then what about the win-" Brandon heard a crash from the inn. "I'll deal with you later," he said in what he had hoped to be a snarl, and ran inside. He looked around and found a hole in the roof. Near him he heard a noise. "What the...?" He flipped a table and found a fairy sitting there. "Who are you?" he demanded angrily, pointing his broadsword. He would not take chances with these creatures- their magic could kill him.

((Er, wood would still make a lot of noise. Anyways, Kira made something fall, and made a loud noise, end of line, okay?))
"I-it's a long story, really.", answered Kira shyly(sp?).
((Whoa, a fairy who's scared of a human, who's younger than her too! Kira really is a scaredy cat...))

((Whoa, a fairy who's scared of a human, who's younger than her too! Kira really is a scaredy cat...)) Correction: Who's scared of a huamn with the second-deadliest type of sword ever created (samurai sowrds are considered the most effective) IC: Brandon was extremely pleased. GEtting a demon to believe he was a knight and now scaring a fairy! "I want an explanation NOW. Did you have something to do with THAT?" he demanded, pointing at the dead Sir Edward without averting his gaze.

"No! I don't even know how I got here!" she responded, suddenly less shy. Brandon was taken aback but the faerie's sudden response. Idiot, he told himself, you dont want her to kill you do you? "Explain that then," he ordered, jabbing his sword at the gaping hole in the roof.

"How do you want me to know when I just closed my eyes a few seconds ago and found myself here?" she asked, suddenly noticing the hole in the roof.

"How do you want me to know when I just closed my eyes a few seconds ago and found myself here?" she asked, suddenly noticing the hole in the roof. This is ridiculous, he thought. "Wow, how convenient you just "happened" to close your eyes when that appeared and jsut magically appeared out of thin air," he growled. That was when the irony of it hit him. She was a fairy! SHE COULD USE MAGIC! Of course she could appear out of thin air!

This guy is definitely annoying, Kira thought to herself.
"How convenient is this to happen?" she asked sarcastically, sending a beam of light to the gap in the roof, making it repair itself instantly.
