"You're leaving? But we barely met!" exclaimed Jade as soon as Isaac was finished talking. She thought tome more and added dryly(sp?): "Fine, go ahead and leave, if that's what you want, but you're the one who's going to have to come up with a good reason to tell Kira when she wakes up."

He started floating ahead faster, passing everyone else.

"Wait!" Jade cried, starting to fly after the ghost, but she soon gave up. Okay, what have you done now, Jade? First you let your own daughter down, and now you make someone remember that they did something very bad, probably years ago! she thought. Why had she insisted? She shouldn't have come out in the first place; she knew she would make trouble wherever she went. She looked at the ground and started crying. "It's all my fault," she whispered. "Everything I do or say just causes trouble. I think I should leave now before causing anything worse." she flew in direction of the forest and dissapeared in it.

"It isn't your fault," Isaac looks at her, "I'm not sure I know your name. You seem to know mine though."
He is standing on a tree, "Looks like I'm not the only one who seeks a forest for a refuge. Listen, my past isn't that great. I-I just can't let it repeat. I tried to save the world. People tried to help me. All three of them died. I brought them to... Gurdom as you call it. They hated me for it. The people who helped me... Two of them were from this town. They blamed me. I didn't even honor their memory. I got killed within a few weeks. I won't go into anymore detail..."
He sighed and looked away.

Jade stopped. That story sounded familiar. She remembered some inhabitants telling her about it when she first came to Gurdom. "Believe it or not, I know about it. Some people told me about some legend of a heartless man who killed his friends for no reason. I knew it wasn't possible. Isaac, I know that you didn't kill them, or at least you didn't do it on purpose. Maybe I should just shut up now..." she said.
