IC: Brandon raised his eyebrows at what Kira said about dragons. In his land they were not persecuted like that - some were used like his beloved Griffins! The only things he knew of like that were when dealing with the giant evil man-eaters, or the ones that just cause chaos. Nothing compared to Neamerik, he thought frightenedly. He tried to shake off the thoughts and memories of the old tales, the giant fire breathers who claimed a whole volcano as their lair, drank lava, ate flaming rocks, caused mass annihilation wherever they went... He shook himself forcefully and dismounted. |

Kira started walking forward. She stopped a moment, looking back at the others to make sure they were following, and she continued walking.

Myst started to fly, but after a few seconds thought about what the probable reactions of the villagers to a flying dragon might be, decided to land on someone and ride.

Kira was walking very fast. So fast she didn't notice a rock that was on her way. She soon tripped on it and fell to the ground, Myst getting catapulted in front of her. When she got back up, she noticed that what she tripped on wasn't a rock, but a snake's tail. The snake',s head popped out a bush beside her leg and before she could to anything else, it curled around her ankle and bit her to the ankle. She fell on her knees, her ankle weakened by the shock.
