If you have any questions, Kathleen, feel free to ask.
Alright, if it's a 1, you go first, if it's a two, I'll go first.
[dice=2]
I guess I go first then.
I draw my hand.
[dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30]
And my first turn draw:
[dice=30]
I'll place Nature the Freezemancer as my Active Ally and Vyt on my bench.
Now I'll attach a Water Energy to Nature.
That's about all I can do for now.
Sam: Nature the Freezemancer - (W) - 4/4 Vyt - 6/6
Kathleen: Hasn't gone yet.[rand=634306713938713179294613189995290456450483761727815632841549813747]

Okay, let's see if I can do this.. *bites lip*
[dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30] [dice=30]
Draw: [dice=30]
And, Drizzlet as my active alley, Nimbostratus on the bench.
Drizzlet (Water) HP: 5 (W) Deluge - 3 Damage (W)(W) Raindrops on Roses - Heal 3 HP to any Ally in play
And attach Water energy to Drizzlet. (That's right?)
Drizzlet uses Deluge, so that's three damage, I think..
Er, did I do that right? Feel free to point out every mistake I've made, or if I've done it completely wrong. xD

You need to give energy to an ally before they can attack; giving energy to an ally is known as "attaching energy." Different attacks have different energy requirements that need to be met before the attack can be used. So if you attach a water energy to Drizzlet, it can use Deluge because it has one water energy but can't use Raindrops on Roses because it doesn't have two energy.
To use an attack, just say that you're using it. Don't forget to roll dice or do other things if the attack instructions say so.
Sorry if you already knew that first bit, but I was trying to make sure that everything was clear.

You're actually doing pretty well so far! Just remember that the second 22 you drew becomes a 24. It's nice to point that out . When you look at a Creature's attacks, there are normally capital letters with parentheses around them before the attacks, right? Because I forgot to post them on my first turn, I'll take the liberty of posting both Nature and Vyt's stats: Nature the Freezemancer (Water) HP: 4 Special Power: Song of Winter – When this Ally comes into play, Heal 1 HP to all Water–type Allies in play. (W) Snowflake Dance – 2 Damage (W)(W) Avalanche – 4 Damage Vyt (Earth) HP: 6 Special Power: Slither – Whenever this Ally is switched from benched to active, roll a die. If the result is 4 or more, deal 2 Damage to the opponent’s active Ally. (*)(*) Tackle – 3 Damage "Mmmyes, that sounds very nice... *wanders off*" Take a look at Nature's "Snowflake Dance" attack. This -- (W) -- appears in front of it. That symbols signifies that one Water Energy must be attached to the creature to use that attack. So, if I were to attach one Water Energy to Nature, she would be able to use Snowflake Dance. (W) means Water Energy is required. (E) = Earth (A) = Air (F) = Fire (L) = Light (D) = Dark (*) = Any energy can be used in this position. The part that comes after the attack is simply the effect. Some attacks are a bit more complicated, but Snowflake Dance is quite simple; it does two damage to the opponent. There are also elemental advantages. Basically, you double the damage done if your Ally has an elemental advantage over the opposing one. Basically, the advantages are: Light over Dark Dark over Water Water over Fire Fire over Earth Earth over Air Air over Light. This is just a basic explanation of the attack process. If you need any help with it, you can always ask .

Okay, thank you both! xD One last question, though. Say you're using Drizzlet. So:
Drizzlet (Water) HP: 5 (W) Deluge - 3 Damage (W)(W) Raindrops on Roses - Heal 3 HP to any Ally in play
Does Deluge need an energy attached? Or only Raindrops on Roses?
EDIT: Nevermind, I get it now. =D So I have another question. >.> Do you need to attack, or is it optional?

Edit: It's optional. One thing to remember though: after you attack, your turn is done. So, if you want to do anything (attach energies, retreat, play events) you must do so before you attack.

I would advise attaching a Water Energy to Drizzlet and attacking, unless you don't have one in your hand.

I believe I've done it all right. ^_^ Yep . I have to go to bed now, so I'll figure out what's gone on tomorrow. If you want, you can look at some other duels and get the gist of how things go on. That's basically how I learned to play ^^.

Thanks so much for answering my questions and being patient and everything! ^^ And.. I have looked at the other duels. I've been studying them. xD I'm a very confused sort of person. >.>
