I use my seven silk sock spell. Since I'm using a water attack against a fire card, that's double damage.

Retreating: Almost all cards require 2 energy of any color to retreat. If you’re retreating, put the two energy cards back into your deck. I'm pretty sure that means two energies attached to the retreating card (since this based off of the Pokémon TCG), meaning Leoness wouldn't have been able to retreat. EDIT: I checked, and yes, they do. The Bench is where Allies who aren’t actively attacking go. They can be switched with the active Ally if the active Ally pays a Retreat Cost. The retreat cost is 2 energies unless otherwise stated. The 2 energies have to be attached to the retreating ally at the time. For example, if Dude #1 attached another energy (of any color) to the Meepit, the Meepit could retreat to the Bench. But there has to be an Active Ally out at all times so you can only retreat when there's another Ally on the bench to take their place. DOUBLE EDIT: also, you can only attach one energy per turn, so even if you had retreated Leoness, there's no way Amnei could have been able to do anything.

Hey Jina, so you know, the way you've been marking energies has been confusing me. My last turn around, I looked at you 'condition' list, thought I had a water energy attached to Socktopus, instead of Dark, and so I thought I could use Roundhouse Kick by attaching some other energy when in reality I couldn't. (In case you don't know: energies are not automatically treated as the same color/element as the card they're attached to.) I had to go back and fix it soon after. Do you mind me tweaking the way they're shown in my post(s)?
