The potion was half-way done, and needed to sit for 10 minutes. Marie sighed and plopped down on her seat, looking at Brandon.
"Please, Brandon. Just answer the question. Either that, or tell me why you suddenly dissapeared from the kitchens last night. You decide which one you want to answer." Surprisingly, the Hufflepuff wasn't mad at the boy at all. Just annoyed. It was rude to run off when someone obviously wanted to talk to you; and he had done just that. He has his reasons, I suppose.

{I'm bored... Hey, Brandon, I've got an idea for you! 'Accidentially' fall in your potion to get away from Marie (or whoever Sillybatty is playing... I got confused...) and free me from boredom! Also, can someone give me an idea for what the stone thing could be? I'm out of any sort of ideas.}

Then Brandon would faint and have to be taken to the Hospital Wing. And... As an added bonus, Marie could take him there!))

Brandon grimced and went for the former.
"Well, you didnt have the mostp leasent look on your face this morning, and I wasnt sure exactly what you wanted. And then that kid tripped me," he added, turning back to the potion.
Pleae dont mention the kitchens again, please oh please oh please... he thought worriedly.

"Now, where is his bed?" Mercy asked to no one in particular. She walked through the halls of the dormitory, then finally found the door. She pushed it open and left it open in case she needed to run quickly.
((Ajenn, can I see you?))

*slaps forehead*
D'oh!
I was gonna ditch the class, then head to my commonroom INSTEAD of the hospital wing, Marie would follow, and then in my temper and finding Marie my body sends a signal for me to become a Griffin, and I get myself in oh-so-deeper trouble.

(Your choice...)
Gwen's head started spinning the moment she stepped into Transfiguration. She wouldn't be able to handle this, and she knew it right away. McGonnagall started some sort of lecture which she found herself unable to pay attention to. She sort of zoned off for a while.
She snapped to attention when she heard laughter a few minutes later. McGonnagal was staring at her, and the students were giggling. "Huh?" She managed to say. McGonnagal frowned, and repeated her question, although Gwen could make no sense of it. She decided there was one option; she pulled out a fainting fudge. McGonnagal moved to a different person to ask, and Gwen discreetly took a bite. McGonnagal turned to her again, asking her another nonsense question. Gwen's eyes rolled back, and she collapsed onto the floor.
She awoke a few minutes later, being carried down the hall by a friend of hers. Gwen suddenly stepped down, and smiled at her friend; her friend knew her secret, and she wouldn't tell. She walked to to the Hospital Wing as her friend walked back to class.
She got there, and told Madam Pomfrey she had just fainted twice, and was still feeling horrible, as she had had a hallucination while she was out cold. She complained about a splitting headache and a stiffness of joints. Madam Pomfrey told her to hang on a sceond, and headed back to another figure. Gwen stared. "Shae?"

(No, you can't, Eon)
Gwen crept silently up the stairs, although her headache was getting stronger by the minute. She had trouble focusing her eyes, but eventually saw Marie sneaking into a door in the hallway. Gwen thanked her lucky stars Marie left the door open, and she silently stepped inside and hid by a wall in the shadows. She thanked the lord she wore black robes and the room was very dark.

((I'm Mercy? Or do you really mean Marie? BTW, I still don't know about IDL's secret either.
My question was that are you like a ghost or solid?))
"Gah," Mercy muttered. "This guy seems just like anyone else. I mean, how am I going to find his bed among the others?" She sighed and walked down past the beds, looking at each one to see if she could identify one as his. They all looked the same...
At the last one, though, she noticed a feather on the ground...

(My bad. Mercy. And I'm solic, but hiding. But I should take an invisibilities toffee, shouldn't I?)
IC:
Gwen notieced Mercy stop, kneel down and examine a feather. She thought she saw Mercy turn around, and realized how stupid she had been. Quickly, she reached into her schoolbag and took out a toffee. She popped it into her mouth and felt a slight chill creep down her spine as her legs dissapeared, followed by her upper body, then finally her head. She waited, wondering what else Mercy might find. Gwen wondered how much Mercy knew. She shuddered If Mercy knows Brandon's a Gryphon, there might be some trouble. But, if she just thinks it's a keepsake or something, I'm in luck. Doubtless he saw me talking to her at breakfast, and she did see the kitchen scene last night, so he'll assume she asked me and I told her everything. I've got to stop that from happening. Gwen continued to think about what she could do to get Mercy out of there and still stay undercover.

Mercy picked up the feather. "Odd," she said quietly. "A griffin feather. Does he have a pet or something..." She spun around as she heard a sound ((Gwen, you can't be totally silent)) and straightened up. "Who's there?"

Brandon didnt talk to Marie for the rest of class, then headed off for his commonroom, muttering about an upset stomach,to keep Marie from tailing him.
He came into his room to find Mercy holding on of his feathers.
His mind reeled.
She knew, didnt she?
But how?
Then his mind tought a single word:
Gwen.
This mental tulmult and Gwen's betrayal caused some unconscious nerve to make him morph right before Mercy - and he wanst exactly the most pleasent Griffin just then.

Another sound distracted Mercy from the one in the shadows. She turned back to see Brandon open the door.
I'm dead, she thought. Backing away, she stuttered, "I-It's not my idea, I'm doing it for-" She broke off at his abrupt transformation. Her eyes widened. "I thought you had a pet or something..." She leaped backwards onto the bed, crouching. "Don't hurt me..." she muttered.
