OOC: Sorry... I think I was very confused at the description you gave. As for the starting over thing, I don't really mind which way we go, but I'd rather we keep with this RP. It just got interesting! God-moding? I never said anyone was god-moding. It just seemed to me that IDL was getting close to GMing... *grins* I have nickname! And nickname means something else too... my IDL number (or whatever it's called)! Also- 2 Animagus. Prototype invisi-toffees. Invisibility cloak. That's 4 powers. Where's the god-moding? PLUS, Invisibility cloaks arent INVINCIBILITY cloaks... *hint**hint**as in cloth + fire**bigger hint*

Gwen was crawling on the ground, but saw Mrs. Norris. She knew she was on to something, but she knew Filch would find it rather ... odd, that she was kneeling in the middle of a soaked bathroom floor. She quickly straightened up. She heard footsteps, and rushed into a stall and locked the door behind her. So that invisible something was saved, but I was saved from some wacky questioning... Gwen thought. She regretted her decision to run into a stall immediately. Filch couldn't punish her for it, and she wished more than ever she knew what that thing was.

Mrs. Norris looked in the area where Brandon sat while Filtch came into the bathroom. Marie could hear Filtch checking underneath the stalls for any legs that might be showing. He opened a stall if he didn't see any feet. Filtch then stopped in front of her stall... Her heart beat faster and faster. She saw part of his head peek under the door briefly, then saw the door rattle as he tried to open it....

Please refrain from calling me Brandon as your character doesnt even know it's a GUY under that And your character doesnt know mine either. IC: Mrs. Norris turned from Brandon and walked over to Filch. Brandon rushed out the door, nearly hitting some third-year Hufflepuffs. He ran back up to his dormitory and shoved the cloak away, and attmepted to appear as if he he was studying in the case anyone came in.

Please refrain from calling me Brandon as your character doesnt even know it's a GUY under that And your character doesnt know mine either. It wasn't my character that was looking at your character, though... She wouldn't be able to see Mrs. Norris anyway; she's in a bathroom stall. I was merely saying "Brandon" because it's a bit easier to say than "the area in which the person under the invisibility cloak was"... IC: Filtch sighed impatiently and moved onto the next stall. Marie would've sighed too, but she kept her breath quiet so as not to arouse anymore suspicion on her stall.

Gwen frowned. She heard some confusion from some Hufflepuffs. Obviously the person or thing had ran away. She was so mad she almost punched the stall, but she heard Filch right outside. She heard his hoarse breath inches from the bottom of her stall door. She then heard him straighten up with a creak - presumably from his spine - and stalk away, shouting at the Hufflepuffs as he went. Gwen gingerly opened the door of her stall, and exited. She walked back to Ravenclaw commonroom very angry at herself.

Hearing Filtch leave the bathroom was relief to her ears. She waited a full 10 minutes before she opened the door, though; just to make sure he wasn't coming back anytime soon. Lifting her cauldron, she slowly opened the door. I wonder whatever happened to that girl with the hair around her forehead..., she thought. Shrugging it off, she took the quickest route to the Hufflepuff common room and dormetories. Upon arriving there, she immediately stoed her things away under her bed. After doing that, she came back to the common room with a book called The Invisible Man.

OOC: *is wondering where CrazyWriter is*
IC:
Gwen sat in her common room, thinking about who the mystery person was. It was abviously somebody under an invisibility cloak ... someone who didn't want to be seen. Could be a boy trying to see what a girl's bathroom was like, but why would anybody want to know Myrtle's bathroom? As if the girls didn't complain about it already, it was miserable enough that even the girls steered clear of it. Excecpt for Brandon.... but ... nah. It could've been somebody trying to look in on Shae and Brandon's animagus lessons, but, no, Shae was in the bathroom there with that annoying girl Marie. And Brandon didn't have any reason to be looking in on Marie (who Gwen didn't think he knew), Shae or herself. Unless he wanted something embarrasing on Gwen, or ... unless he liked Shae. Which was quite probable, as they both were animagi.
Gwen cleared her head. Yeah, right. This is a wizarding school, not a soap opera.[i/] And Gwen left it at that.

Marie set her book down. Thoughts were nagging at her brain, keeping her from concentrating on her book. Why had Gwen even accused her of making that scar on her forehead?
She sighed and started talking to herself, "It was because I had smart-mouthed her, that's why. If I had only taken control of my temper, we wouldn't have gotten off to such a bad start. I might not've dropped my cauldron, which brought the attention of Filtch's cat... But... I was so frustrated... " Marie rubbed her temples; thinking about this kind of stuff sometimes gave her headaches.

Brandon heard footsteps coming into the common room and looked up to see Gwen. Immediately revitalized and his fear dissolved he got up and strode over to the fire, making sure his couch faced away from Gwen. He brought over his bag with the cloak and took out a book. Hee began to think of how to tell Shae of his new toy and more importantly, how to get rid of hers. Immersing himself in the story, his thoughts were rooted in it, oblivious to all ife around him.

((I'm guessing it's nighttime at the castle, so...))
The few people in the common room that had been there when Marie had gotten back (and had asked her about her Potion supplies) were now slowly going off to bed. Hm..., Marie pondered, I wonder if Crai knows somewhere where I could make and test my potions. I don't think Myrtle's bathroom is safe anymore, not after what happened tonight...
Crai is a house-elf of the school, and, by chance, Marie has met her. Marie had been staying up late (past 3 am) finishing up an essay for Astronomy. Having fallen asleep in the common room, she was awoken by a house-elf tidying up around her; Crai. The house-elf had pleaded for her not to tell anyone that she had woken a student, and Marie promised...on one condition. Crai happily agreed to show secrets of the castle when need be, and had even showed her the way to the kitchens.
It was decided. Marie would ask Crai if there were any alternative places to do her experiments. She quickly made sure that the coast was clear outside her House, and seeing that it was safe to venture out, she quickly set off to the school kitchen. There were only two problems she had to face, though. One was Filtch, but the other was that she had to pass Ravenclaw House....

Brandon finished 5 more chapters within 20 minutes and set the book down, leaving the common room to see the Gryffindors before he went to bed.
He went out and nearly collided with another girl, whom he recognized as the girl in the bathroom.
Not good, he told himself.

Uh oh... Marie thought as she ran into a boy. She had to come up with some excuse for herself...but...why wasn't he in bed...? She couldn't think of anything to say as she brought herself up from the ground, though.
