Hmm...Humans.....Watch it! A bullet fires at him. He deflects it with a sphere of condensed air. What are they trying to do? They must know they can't harm us.

Humans are insolent. They believe that they can do all with their weapons. she growls as a bullet narrowly misses her left ear. This must be put to a stop!

Shishangi mutters something as a bullet sets fire as she stares at it. Dintelle jumps up, a bullet nearly missing his feet. Why do humans always try to harm us, even if they know that they can't? Shishangi mutters, setting another bullet fired at her. They do understand that no matter what, they can't harm us... at all. Dintelle sighs, shaking his head.

Moondancer points her horn at the darting bullets, making them swivel toward the trees nearby. A stray one escapes, heading back toward the animals. Ambre tenses, remembering the feel of a metal lump digging into her flesh. It was something she did not want to experience again.

Shishangi narrows her eyes, flapping in the air still. Using metal objects is a waste of time... We could be doing other things, like fighting the darkness... Dintelle mutters, freezing a bullet in midair as ice surrounded it, dropping and breaking into pieces. This is a darn waste of time... We could lunge into the bushes and attack... he adds. Shishangi shakes her head, setting fire to another bullet. That wouldn't solve anything... except making the human stop firing...

*sigh*....This is getting very old, very fast. Allow me to remove them. Don't worry, it won't hurt them. Ashtarth mutters and concentrates on the humans. They start floating in the air, and then are carried off, unknowingly of how, on a cloud of condensed air. Ah. Much better. Shall we return to our discussion? Or was there not much left to discuss?

Spikka smiles Many thanks Ashtarth. The humans were becoming a nuisance.

Arrlixth shudders, still staring at the spot where the humans had been. Then, as if startled, he turns to the others. There are too many more things to discuss about the Shadow that we should give up and think about them when the time draws nearer. His voice was almost bitter, but more weary; his eyes burned with this same weariness. The flame of the oldest star--burst but not dead in soul--burned ruggedly within both his eye and spirit.

Dintelle blinks, nodding his head in thanks. Thank-you, Ashtarth. He turns to the group, saying, The Shadow feels very close... I can feel it somehow... I don't know why though... Shishangi nods in agreement, flapping down to a branch to sit upon. It grows stronger, I believe...

Arrlixth sighs and nods, but says nothing more.

I sense Shadow too, but what can we do to prepare for an enemy who may have no concieveable weakness? How shall we prepare?

I sense Shadow too, but what can we do to prepare for an enemy who may have no concieveable weakness? How shall we prepare? Training, states Sabre. Train ourselves in everything, because we have to be ready for everything.

Moondancer sighs. I am not used to fighting, especially so subtle a creature. Ambre nodded in agreement. I've been in my share of battles, but they've all been with creatures I know of, whose weakness I can sense. This Shadow is not as tangible as even a lion's pawprint or a toucan's cry. It scares me...

Yes, but where to train? Dintelle questions, sitting on the dirt curiously. How shall we train if we are sitting here like ducks? Shishangi nods. Yes, we have no idea where or when to train, and what to train exactly...

Well, insists Sabre, we can't just sit here and be scared about it. A small sound comes from behind Sabre.
