((I'm thinking about getting Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for the GameCube, but I'm still not sure. It's only $20 at the computer store I go to, so I might get it.
Drow ride lizards? Are Dark Elves also called Drow? Because in the game Age of Wonders, the Dark Elf Leader and Executioner ride black horses.))

I rented it, and with the help of my brother (since it's a two-player game) beat it in about six days. So, using ten dollars and playing non-stop, you will be able to beat it in hard, play the bonus level with Drizzt, beat the game again in Extreme, then play the game in any difficulty level using Drizzt. After that, if you still like the game, you can buy Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2, wich will be even better. Here, I'll quote the article about it from my PS2 magazine for you: "With the great success of the original Dark Alliance, across all three consoles, it was inevitable that a sequal would eventually appear. We would never have guessed, though, that DKII could definitely end up as a grander experiance, with a two-player cooperative mode and a new item creation system, wich allows you to forge your own unique weapons and armor. The game is now composed of over 40 levels and starts five, all-new characters. The monsters have expanded in numbers and have even benefited nicely from higher polygon counts." Sound cool, huh? I'm going to bully Alex into letting me rent it when I go down to Duncan. When it's out, that is. I don't think it's going to come out for another few months. Oh, well. Hopefully Jak 2'll be out by August, so I can rent that! BTW: Were the drow leader and executioner on the surface, or in the Underdark? I guess if they were on the surface, they'd ride horses. I just know that in the Underdark they ride lizards.))
