na I just try to go along with others stories I have no good ideas I use them in school to write the weekly stories we have for homework

What you missed was that he was trying to start a story in the temple, so an earthquake and a "leave now!!" wasn't exactly what he needed. maybe if you character had walked in and prayed in a corner, or talked to the others, or something would be a more open way to introduce yourself to the story.
That's just my opinion, but I think you should try and figure where the story is going, and follow along with it.

Yep, anyway, the other person I was hopeing would come on isnt in the same time span as me so i would be waiting round for ages. This is now opfficialy a derelit temple. There pichu, use that as a start for your story.
