Brandon gives up searching for a gyarados, and heads back to shore. He notices Fira, then gets and idea. He walks over to Draco and says, "Hey, would your mew like to battle Venusaur...? *hearing this Fira flys up to Brandon* Well I guess that means a yes. So I guess we should go fight over there, away from everyone. *points towrds a small open space away from some of the people, but close enough for them to see the fight* So do you want to start, or me? |

Darkmoon's eyes popped open. "I can't sleep," he said simply. He got up and looked around the area, sighting a small cave. He gathered his Pokemon up and said, "Come on guys, I'm feeling a little adventurous."

OOC: Okay, I've been able to get a hold of may gameboy, so these are my current pokemon:
Barial LV: 35 (Female, Golden Vileplume, I fortunately caught a Golden Oddish in Ilex Forest, and it kept it's colour as it evolved) Croli LV: 84 (Male, Blastoise) Lars LV: 92 (Male, Dragonite) Rhykai LV: 82 (Female, Rhydon) Bless LV: 88 (Female, Blissey) Dudeca LV: 83 (Male, Raichu)
Clay turns around from observing the Marowak, noticing that Kayla is gone. "Hmm... You give someone a TM to teach Hyper Beam and they disappear off to somewhere. It makes you wonder... *turns around and Marowak is gone* Grr... There's no time for battles, anyway. I'll just take this information back to the HQ, and... *notices forest on way back is thick and a long hike* Er... Maybe I'll call in for a helicopter."

This gives me a good idea. *turns around to the small crowd, raises hand so people can see and shouts* A battle of the best! Come and bet! Odds on the Venasaur!" |

*the marrowak comes back over to the lake and glares in the direction of the battle. He wanders to the water's edge and shakes his bone club in the air, and mutters towards the water. A goldeen and another magikarp surface and he picks them up without them offering any resistance, and runs back to the woods*

Of coarse, if it is a tame pokemon. I've never heard of wild Marowak at the Lake of Rage, so I highly doubt it. |

Well, I do have a few tricks up my sleeve  Here's 2: 1, Venusaur can walk via his vines. 2, he can grow bark and use it as a shield. IC: Brandon nods. "I'll start." Venusaur walks over, looks at fira, grins, and sits there. But something is changing... (Check the flower! IT GLOWS!) Edit: For those are you who dont get it, HE'S USING SOLARBEAM |

*a poliwag surfaces near marrowak. He points his bone club back at the trail and talks to it*
"Marrow wak wak mar"
*the poliwag runs down the well beaten trail on it's two little legs, and Marrowak dives into the water, surfacing a moment later with a magikarp that is twice his size in his hands. He carries it back down the trail, following the poliwag*
((You know, I actually have no idea which water pokemon live at lake rage except for magikarp, so I'm mostly using them, and the occasional other water pokemon))
