I had been debating on whether I was going to participate on NaNo this year or not... but I think I will. I've participated 3 years and I've only won once, but it has been an interesting experience everytime. ^^

I'm not very sure why I'm making a thread, because I've realized I'm not a fan of plotting NaNos. It's a lot more fun to me when they're not planned at all.

I guess I do this just to tell everyone I'm in. And then maybe I'll let this thread sleep a month and make regular updates to it when NaNo actually comes around and I have things to say. XD

I just had an idea! When NaNo comes around, usually I come up with a bunch of random crazy ideas... and then don't use them, but they're interesting. Weird, but interesting.

So I decided I will post them all here. ^_^

Today I came up with the first one:

* A person somehow sees something that happens in the future, but right after the vision they become blind. =O And they try to tell people how they saw the future and lost their sight but no one believes them... and I have no idea what else happens, but they stay blind until that event happens. Then they get their sight back. Or something. XD

Thanks guys! ^^ It probably won't be my NaNo (or who knows), but it's good to know others find it interesting as well.

Today I'm debating on whether I should write my NaNo in Enlish or in Spanish. I think I'm going to go with English like I have so far every year, though to be honest I hardly ever practice my Spanish writing skills (unless it's essays for school or something) and maybe it would be good. *ponders*

Crazy idea number 2:

* About a really appearances-concerned, self-concious girl who looks at herself obssesively in the mirror every chance she gets. One night she wakes up, unable to sleep for some reason. She realizes there has been a powerout, and to get some light she goes to get a candle. She takes it to the bathroom with her to look at herself in the mirror, but her image looks dim. Unsatisfied, she goes back to bed.

The next day the power is back but she discovers with horror that her reflected image looks as dim as the night before. She tries several different mirrors and the same thing happens every time.

... And yeah, I have no idea how that'd get solved or why that would happen.

My previous idea is better anyway. XD

Crazy idea number 3:

* About a person who likes keeping a diary, but they never write as themselves. They go out and observe people, almost in a stalker manner, but they mean no harm by it. It's someone new everyday. Maybe a friend, or maybe someone they hadn't ever seen before. They watch them very carefully to see what they're doing. To try to guess what they're thinking. Then, at the end of the day they go inside and write as if they were that person.

And so the story would be a compilation of very different diary entries, but all witten by the same person.

It sounds kind of plot-less, but I'm thinking at some point the main character is forced to wite about themselves, and they're not sure how. I don't know. XD

Your third idea sounds pretty interesting. As far as the spanish vs. english thing, why not do a little of both? Or, you know, write mostly in one language and find excuses to write parts in the other.

Ahh, NaNo is coming so soon. o-o

I actually had a crazy idea #4, but didn't post it because I think I'll go with idea #3. =3 I hope I get the chance to use idea #1 sometime, though. Not in this NaNo, it doesn't fit. But... it's still pretty cool, it shouldn't go to waste. XD
