Well, still idea-less as of now, but hey, what do I have to lose? XDDDD I might do a historical idea. Or continue my medieval-themed NaNo from last year.
...
Woo. XD

Okay, new reason to finish NQII ASAP - so I don't get distracted. XDDDD
Hmmm...I think I have something historical, that happens during the Spanish period, when they colonized the Philippines. My basic idea is that a young native girl is taken from her province (maybe when her parents are killed in an uprising, something like that), and is raised to be the Governor-General's own daughter. Maybe she'll also be totally brainwashed into thinking that she's totally Spanish.
And to add a twist of fantasy, she's clairvoyant, and has dreams that foretell that the Spanish will someday lose the Philippines (which is historically true) or something else that's kinda disturbing. Then in some random twist of fate, she must choose between her status as the Governor-General's daughter, or her people.
...
But it sounds so clichéd. XDDDDDD

EMBRACE THE CLICHE, KAT! XDDDD
Besides, clairvoyant mixed with history is not really cliche. I think it sounds rather cool.

I SHALL EMBRACE THE CLICHE! XDDDDDDD Maybe they should add "cliché" to their genres.
Really? ^^; I'm also thinking of making a supporting character, one of the Governor General's maids who tells the girl stories of their people. XD And who believes that her dreams will become reality.
And who leaps out of the kitchen waving a knife screaming, "FREEDOM!" XDDDDDDD

It's almost November.
I can't remember the last time I tried to put together my ideas into one NaNo novel. XD
