Let's have a twenty minute one now...how about :05 to :25? Sure. I'm a slow writer but it's fun giving myself a time limit.

288 words. XD *slow* (Nerts, almost 300! ) Yayy! *long breath* I think I'm going to take a break now. 20 minutes straight of writing = tolling. Edit: Thank you. But, just so you know, most of what I wrote is really bad and needs editing. *resists urge to edit*

But, just so you know, most of what I wrote is really bad and needs editing. *resists urge to edit* The reason I'm slow is because I can't stand editing so I try to get everything right the first time, which I realize is exactly the problem that Nano is supposed to solve. XD; I can't seem to help it, though. Giving myself the time limit of a month gives me an incentive to write, but doesn't change my way of writing.

For Word Wars, I just put myself in this zone that's just something along the lines of, "keep typing, regardless of what comes out."

Is anybody up for a Word War from :10 till :30?

START! (even if there's no one else around)
Edit twenty minutes later: 592 words. That's not too bad, considering I was stuck for the last three minutes because I had just finished the scene and didn't know how to continue.
