Omni's NaNo… Failed - Story-finishing-ideas wanted

So, I'm considering NaNoing this year. My main idea right now is to use it to write down stories I've had in my head for awhile, but haven't got to writing. So… here are those ideas, or at least some of them.

Working title.

This takes place in a world with modern technology and science. However, magic also exists. Magic vs science tends to be controversial. (In fact, two of the characters are identical twins, currently unnamed, one is a scientist, the other a mage, and they argue a lot. …although their arguments don't always stick to magic vs science.) In the story, the area is afflicted by demons. These demons cause trouble and chaos in ways you might expect. The story begins with a girl named Tenshi, who is having a relatively normal day, when she finds herself fleeing for her life, and stumbles upon a frightening creature. This event changes her life, and that of her family.

I've been wanting to do this story as a comic. Thing is, I know how I want the beginning, and the end, but not a lot of the middle, and I think it would be a good idea to have the plot down before starting on the comic.

The only one with a solid title.

A blue Lupe named Feodor has found himself leaving everything behind - including his owner, who raised him since he was an infant - and traveled to a world similar to Neopia, named Invetrum, specifically in the land of Cogeni. In Invetrum, the very natural laws of the elements have been rendered null, resulting in chaos beyond the peoples' control. …Except for a mystical river, and the immediate area that it runs by. Feodor travels Cogeni, encountering friends and foes alike, as he works to restore things to order.

A continuation of my Neoadventure, starting where the Neoadventure leaves off. This one I've wanted to make into a game, but for a long time I had a hard time finding a way to make it into any game besides a text game. I have more of a plot idea than in Suijouand Tenshi, but some of the specifics still need to be worked out.

The title may include the "The Reaches."

A sequel of my origins story. (In fact, if I don't finish the origins story my November, I would start the NaNo story where the origins leaves off and then lead into the sequel at the right time.) Returning to the empty world Omni traveled to, only now it's no longer empty. This story tells more about what happened in The Reaches, and why, including information on Infrancia, and some on Omni's abilities. And this time, I'm planning on bringing other forumers along for the adventure. (Which ones exactly, I haven't decided yet. )

I'm seriously considering this one for various reasons. One is that it's supposed to be fairly random and crazy. Another is that I left The Reaches at an odd spot, and I don't want to leave it (or readers) hanging. Another is that I thing a reasonable amount of time has passed since when The Reaches was supposed to happen. Another is that, once finished, I would just need to do some fine tuning before I can post it.

I would use a different title.

Yeah, the story that I've done a bit of on my DA. It takes place an a world of Kemono (people with animal tails and such), as well as humans. Magic exists in this world, too. Various Kemono have various cultures, based of the creature they're similar to and things related to those creatures. A Ryuu named Sadoru wakes up with no memory or knowledge, except for speech and fighting skills. He meets a Chou named Egaocho (pronounced 'eh-GAH-oh-CHOH') and helps her. They agree to travel together. As they travel, they meet many people, and offer them aid. But also, it seems the more they learn, about Sadoru or otherwise, the more questions arise.

This one wasn't really meant to be one whole story as it was to a a bunch of 'episodes,' although I suppose I could go with a chapter format. Another one that I would start where it's left off. This one has some general plot in my mind, from start to… near the end at least, but I'd also like to do some random adventures as well. A little like Pokémon, I guess.

Many scattered ideas for this one. (Do pets count as 'alternate personas'?)

This idea is to tell the story of a character, or two, or so, that would be a part of a game or other thing someone else started, like Resceatu pets, D&D or WoW characters. The thing is, a bunch of the ideas I have were meant to be role-played. I.e. I want to tell the story, but I want to include others in it as well. And where that isn't the case, I don't have much in the way of set ideas that I want to get done.

I'm having trouble deciding exactly which story, because I'd really like to do each of them, except for the option, and i'd like to get them done sometime soon, if possible.

OMNI! You got me reading The Reaches and then cut off with a cliffhanger! Even if you don't do that for your NaNo, at least tell me what happens, 'kay?
All these ideas look fantastic.

Okay, NaNo has started, And I've updated The Reaches. The NaNo'd part starts on this post. I'll be posting each part as I write it until I finish the original story; once I start the sequel, the story won't update until I've gone over the editing and such. (Okay, I may post some bonus material and quotes. )

On another note, as mentioned in my story idea I'm planning on including other forumers in the sequel. I'm looking for volunteers, both as brief appearances and as people who will join in the whole adventure. It's not first-come, first-serve, so you'll have a chance as long as you offer. There are a few things I'd like know if you however:

Whether your character can detect auras, and if so, how.
If your character is likely to jump on some motorcycle that happens to be there in a pinch, and whether they've rode one before.
If your character plays RCP. (This will be taken into consideration for a cameo.)
Other general info, like what they're known for, what other stuff they can do, etc.

If you want, you can link to a profile page or two.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do some writing and vague outlining.

Shade can detect auras. It's sight-based, usually with colors, though emotions and shapes can leak in. She'd only jump on a motorcycle if it were faster than flight, but she would, though she doesn't know how one works. And no, she doesn't play RCP. Um. As for what she can do and stuff.. she's half-demon, so I guess that'd be known. Her sword has a name and can sort of change shape. She's the Royal Envoy of Dunburrow, but I doubt that matters. So yeah.

Hades can't detect auras, but he is a cyborg vampire, and thus has other weird stuff, such as heat vision and stuff. Yes, he'd jump on a motorcycle, and yes, he knows how to use it. No, he doesn't play RCP. And you'd probably know better than I what he's known for, and I think you can find his abilities pretty easily. Merc roster.

Azzie can in fact detect auras, but generally it''s more a strong sense of empathy than auras themselves.
Azzie has ridden a motorcycle and would jump at the chance to ride one again.
What's RCP?
Azzie is generally known for being kind of timid, and for her pets (who defend her.)

I'm volunteering as a character! Faithful student/sidekick here for duty, Lady Omni! ^_^

Lesee . . . Nature, as you know, is a sitarist. Not the best of all, but still pretty good. Her attacks and defenses mirror those of Demyx from KHII, except that Nature uses snow, not water (though there are some rare times where she uses water) and Nature doesn't use snow clones of herself (mostly because she hasn't perfected the art of snow cloning yet.)

On background, Nature was raised in a Neopian circus, but then it caught fire when she was 12 and she got separated from the other troupe members. When she first came to the NTWF, Nature didn't know how to control her snow abilities (which led to accidental freezing of trees, shrubs, Rider, etc.) So she went to Omni for training.

Okay, as you can probably tell from my signature, I'm way behind in NaNo; so far behind, that unless I somehow do just over 20,000 WPD in the next two days (yeah right), I won't be able to get the default goal. So, two things: 1. My goal-for-November will be 10,000 words. 2. My goal-for-50,000-words will be the end of December (maybe Christmas). I'm still planning on finishing the sequel to The Reaches (which, by the way, is finished and completely posted ) with 50,000 words as a guideline for how big it will be, it just may be awhile before I get there. I'll try to put some more effort into it in December. It's just that, like what happened here, I tend to get distracted easily and jump around to other projects and such.

So… I'd like some ideas on how to help get myself to finish the story before too long.
Current ideas:

• Of course, there should be an average-words-per-day.
  
• Assign myself a 'Writing time.' I'm thinking sometime not too long after noon.
  
• Well, word wars would be tricky, but I could have 'word sprints' (better name suggestions welcome) to see how many words I, on my own, can get in a certain amount of time, and try to beat my previous record.
  

Again, I'll try to get the story done soon… I'd really like to share it. I just need to sit myself down and do it!
