For those who did NaNo a previous year... Dare: Have one of your characters be reading a previous NaNo of yours. Double Dare: If this character is a huge fan of the book and always making references to it that no one else understands. XD I'll probably do that! Maybe not the double dare...but we'll see

Dare: Give each of your main/supporting characters a catch phrase. Double Points: If each character says their catch phrase at least 15 times throughout the course of the book. Triple Points: If each character with a catch phrase is in a scene where they all say their catch phrases consecutively, regardless of how much sense it makes.

I think I'll take that, it should be rather fun =P

Dare: Reference Brain Bleach somewhere in your story. - Bonus Point: If a character uses Brain Bleach Triple Score: If the Brain Bleach plays a vital role in the plot. For those who did NaNo a previous year... Dare: Have one of your characters be reading a previous NaNo of yours. Double Dare: If this character is a huge fan of the book and always making references to it that no one else understands. Have a character wear a pink hat for one scene Bonus if the hat has feathers Double bonus if it's plot-relevant! Taking these :3 As a matter of fact, I've already done the second one. The character who read it is a somewhat apathetic person, though, so we'll see if we can get her to do the double dare or not...

So, what are your NaNo dares for this year?Dare: (if your story isn't a fanfiction) Throw a random fictional character (anime/cartoons, books, movies, video games, etc.) into your story at some point. I only came across this now. XD Does it have to be the actual character or could we reuse name(s) to hint at a main theme that these characters were involved in (in their book, movie, whatever?) e.g. Umm... no dare, but bonus points to whomever can tell me where all of those names (save for Hara) come from. ;D I'll give you a hint: MOVIE! :B

Dares from me... Have a character wear a pink hat for one scene Bonus if the hat has feathers Double bonus if it's plot-relevant! Taking this one. I know how to make it plot relevant, too. XD I only came across this now. XD Does it have to be the actual character or could we reuse name(s) to hint at a main theme that these characters were involved in (in their book, movie, whatever?) The dare is supposed to include the actual character, but referencing names counts, too, as long as it is recognisable as a reference to the character in question. Did that make sense? XD
