Hi guys, a complete NTWF newbie here :3 I submitted my comic late last Sunday, and haven't gotten any sort of message about it yet. I really haven't entered the NT for ages, and I'm starting to wonder if I should be worried yet or if it's normal to get notifications last minute during this time of year. i89.photobucket.com/albums/k234/TehTwi/neopets/holidays_by_twilightdestiny.jpgThat was my comic- I don't suppose there's any way of checking if it's still in the system besides bugging one of the editors about it, and I know they have enough on their plates already... So yes, any advice? |

I think the pet kinda cutted a christmas tree or something and decorated it. Anyway maybe you could try to make it more clear what's happening (which is easier to say than to do =/).
And if you submitted on Sunday...that's just 5 days ago and it takes usually longer than that for the NT to answer. So I would say you just hope they check it next week and it gets in...(sorry for not being such a great help)
Time's kinda short but hope is what you lose at last, isn't it?

Essentially she's walking through the snow all alone, and all she has is one ornament and all she can find is a really small tree, but in the end it doesn't matter to her because Christmas isn't about crazy parties and flashy lights and extravagant decorations and gifts- she can just sit quietly and enjoy the night and the scenery. I wanted to avoid having dialogue move the story along- I dislike comics with just pets standing around letting the talking do everything- but I can see how it came out a little vague though XD
I probably should have had her leaving some place with an overdone Christmas behind or something- oh well, tis something to learn from :3
And thanks Opi, that was my main question because I really can't remember how long my responses used to take when I entered the NT in the past. I kept hearing mixed opinions about how sometimes comics are looked over more quickly or something and wasn't sure what to make of it. Thanks, I'll keep waiting ^_^

I kind of got it. I thought she had an ornament, found a tree to put it on, and then sat underneath it. I think it's pretty. |

Is the Christmas Issue going to be on the 19th or the 26th?
Because I'm thinking that even if I manage to finish my Christmas story tonight, it would be much too late if the Issue falls on this coming Friday... D:
