  SPAZTAZM!!! WANTS!!! Oh goodness, I love that Desert Korbat so much! Eeeeeee. I love the colors of his fur and wings and the clothes.... <3 Though I wish he had some eye-makeup. That would've made it even more awesome. :3 But still!!!  Finally, a Desert Korbat! *dies happy* Oh man, and these clothes aren't too bad either:   I really, really like that miner outfit. One, it's very humorous for a flying pet to have mining gear. Two, it makes for some pretty darn sweet steampunk outfit, if you mix and match. That golden tailspike is especially sweet. |

So is it safe to say that Komo will get a change? Eeeeeeeeeee.... prolly. ;D You find Komori with her (not-so) freshly painted Desert Korbat, who smiles at you complacently. (This story's not really about him, now is it?)
"Hi Komori," you say, watching her sketch an image of her Neopets. "You wouldn't happen to have extra tombstones lying around, would you?" As you ask the question, you notice an enormous pile of tombstones behind her, all engraved with the word "Spooky" on them. They must be used for each of her comics, you realize. Hopefully she'll be able to part with one or two for you.
She puts down her pencil and stares at you carefully, as if to determine whether or not you're worthy of one of her prizewinning tombstones.
"That depends," she says finally. "Can you answer this riddle?"
You nod slowly. Riddles were never your strong suit...but after this wild goose chase for ingredients, maybe you've improved.
"Find me a golden gourd, and I'll let you have one," she says with a toothy grin.

With the exception of the necklace, the head of the Desert Korbat seems a bit plain, but overall, it's beautiful/adorable, even if it's simple. Cloud is cloud, nothing special about it, but again, it's cute

Eee, I love the colours. =D I've always been fond of that blue/tan combination. I agree, the head does seem to be missing something -- a headdress or some kohl or something would fill the space much more nicely. But, at the same time, in this age of mixing paint brush colours and supplementing existing combinations with various wearables, I guess this colour has potential for all sorts of things. Plus, Desert doesn't always have to look like Desert royalty.

Hmm... I wish the Korbat had been a little more decorated, especially the head like most people mentioned already: some kohl, a head piece, or something. The colors are nice, and the rings on the tail are a really nice touch.
Cloud is usual I guess. The light blue wings really do remind me of the sky, and it has the nice light-hearted feel of cloud neopets.

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do. Part of me wants to paint him on Korbat Day, so I can have one of the first Desert Korbats. But then, I think I might wait at least 'til after Halloween, so that he'll at least match my recent Spooky comics. I had originally wanted to create a multi-part comic series leading up to his painting (at least 5 or 6 parts), but I'm far too impatient to wait a couple of months for the color I've been waiting for for 5 years! XD |

I could revise it to having it be jewelry or something, but that's not as dramatic..... perhaps he was trying on the cloak thingy in the NC Mall. ^_^ An' I do remember you saying that about the comic leading up to him being painted. That's what prompted me to do mine ^_^ The desert clothes on glowing might clash a bit.... Oh, and so -that-'s how Tombstones's comic is going to be different |
