I know where to send in the articles and short stories, but do you have to include anything with them? Such as your Neopets account name, etc. Any advice for newbies (like me) would also be appreciated...

Yes, you need to send your username so you can get credit. That's pretty much it--your story and your name.

Yes... it's best to attach your story/article/series/comic in a .txt file... and write Josh a thank you note.

Thanks for the good advice! Is Josh one of the staffers at Neopets? Does he read all of the articles?

He's the editor (god) of the Times. He selects the survivors of the articles, stories, and comics....

To attach a .txt file, put <p>....</p> tags on the beginning and end of all your paragraphs, copy your entire story/article into the program Notepad, save it, and look at your e-mail service's attachment directions to attach it. In the body of the e-mail, include your title and suggestions (if you have them) for the picture and summary. Also, always include a polite "Thanks" and your username.
HINT: Josh likes funny things.

unquote: When you mean in the body do you mean to put it after you've attached the file or but the note INSIDE of the attached file? (What picture also ^_^)

All right, go to your e-mail provider and open up a blank e-mail form. Write a message to Josh as specified, and attach to that your file. The message and the file are separate, because what you want in the Times is attached and what you want Josh to see is in the body of the e-mail.
You know, those pictures next to the title, summary, and author in the NT. They're like the icons for the piece.

I usually just say "Here's an article for the times! Username: Ajennsis Article: <article>" (My articles I copy and paste right into the e-mail. I don't like attachements) Maybe THAT'S why I only have a 4xTrophy...
