The Mutant one didn't get mentioned on the news page. How odd.
Speckled - I think the white spots are a little big. But the wings are nicely done!
Mutant - Ohh. Very nice. -marks down as my new favourite Mutant- xD The pose looks different from the regular Eyrie one, somehow, and that's a good thing! I like how they've turned it into a more 'reptilian' pet.

The mutants are always awesome. The speckled is generic. It would be nice to see a different colored speckled pet. like the usul.  |

Wow, that's an awful lot of stuff on that Mutant. Much like the Peo, it almost looks like a different style than all the other pet colors: so many colors and levels of shading. Maybe too many patterns on the whole thing, he's awfully busy, what with the spots on the green and the stripes on the blue, and the layers of scales on everything. (Definitely not a fan of that singular patch of fishscales on his haunch there.)
That being said, his concept is utterly fascinating, and very cool looking. I especially like those front hooves. Too bad they can't revamp some of the old mutants to have even half the detail and concept that these new mutants have. :3

I think they got carried away with the speckles. ^^; I feel they're so many, it looks kinda cluttered. I love how the wings are done, though. <3

Don't like speckled much.
But I LOVE the mutant! It's hooves amuse me, and I love the spikes on his wings, the scales, the glare-y eyes and the stubby but creepy beak...^^ I love mutant pets!

Speckled, those larger white dots are too distracting. They could have done much better.
At first, I thought the mutant was weird and pieced together looking, but now I love it. It does look like a chimaera. I want one of these. =D
And the pose is different because it's more hunched over. Heh, I want Gratifications to be one of these now. ;D
Edit: I agree, Komori. Seriously, I'd love to see a new mutant Kougra.

There's a ton of little details on the mutant, but then that's probably why I love it. Spots, stripes, spikes, scales.. It's really something. I'd totally get it if I had the means. @_@
As for speckled, like Ginz said, it's a little cluttered.

I personally love the Speckled Eyrie.
The Mutant Eyrie is quite good also, although it's not really my taste.

Umm yeah. Speckled is interesting. Circles are too big, and too many. =/ It's sorta iffy for me.
As for Mutant..hmm. I really like it, but paying more attention to it, the less I like it. =( Theres just way too many things going on here, it looks like a picasso. o-o;;; They pulled it off for the Peophin, yes, but I don't think they managed to pull it off here. They took a risk... and I think some people will like it, but theres way too many different designs on here. =/

The mutant reminds me of a combination of Cell from DBZ... and a character in a children's book. This character was a dog, who wished that he was so much more remarkable than he was. He was able to seek the aide of a witch, who turned him into a creature with a rhino's horn, an elephant's ears and front legs, a giraffe's neck, and a zebra's hind legs/rear/tail. The name of the book escapes me right now.
I'm really not sure I like the mutant at all, actually.
