Just a few weeks ago I was so nervous, worried that I hadn't sent my comic in early enough to make it into the Halloween issue. I'd worked very long and hard in what little spare time I had to finish it because I'd promised someone a year ago that I'd do a Halloween special guest starring their pet. I was so afraid that all my work was going to have have been for naught, and that I would fail to keep my promise. However, not only were my anxiety's put to rest with a prompt reply, but I also recieved my acceptance neomail with out delay! And to top it all off, when I checked my account today, I saw two things that made me grin so wide it made my face hurt! One neomail saying I'd recieved a pirate paint brush, and another from the co-writer of the Halloween special (the one I'd made the promise to) saying he'd recieved one as well!
The co-writer thanked me, but if anyone deserves thanks, it's him for encouraging me to do this, and especially Droplet for accepting the comic and giving us both paintbrushes!
