...or the ink, that's expensive too. I never print out my stuff because I don't want my parents reading it. *remembers the "Ick, is that Pokey-man stuff?" comment after a roadtrip to Limited Too* Ooh yes, two more good points against printing out Neopets stuff... For school papers I always print out hard copies of my drafts, but for Neopets, I just suffer through the eye-strain of staring at the computer screen. If you can afford it though, go for it.

I usually do all my writing on the computer for stories and stuff, unless i'm at school and I have some Sudden Ideas like 'The Goblet of the Holy Censer' which is a dark night mystery

Is that any relation to "Monty Peophin and the Holy Censer"? And if so, have you asked Aus to see if he minds?

Thanks everyone for the tips. I never actually did wordcount until reading this section here now, and I've also picked up a few helpful tips that I think I'm going to need to use.

Alas, I'm stuck with Wordpad--no word count, no spell-check. I've used Word at my school computers before, and it's wicked cool. What I do in Wordpad is eye-ball my work; if something's really short, I add to it, if something's really long, I shorten it. I usually have a good sense of spelling, so that helps. Im stuck with wordpad too. And being the Queen of Typo's, its pretty lame I used to have word, but it went when my computer was wiped... We have it at school *Wants it back* I have a MS word reader, so I can read documents in it, which is useful.
