Yes, but nowadays ( at least in my homestay) the ones on the outside have glass doors on the other side, and they let in just enough light when you close them at night, but th front door was western style, and the indoor sliding panels were solid. >.<; I don't think you wanted and essay though XD. Edit: but When we saw a "training place" for samuris... I think that was what it was, it had no glass doors ... I gotta find those pictures XD. |
