I don't think I did. xD But he was sweet, and I thought he was very smart, and I sorta admired him a little bit, and he liked me, and I liked him, and he was great to talk to. We made a deal at first to only date for six months, until we went overseas, but later we decided that we liked each other too much, so we got together for good. =D Now we're making wedding plans.

And yes, we do want to get married. =D But not just yet. We can't afford it, and we're both still very young. Kit will graduate with his double degree at the end of next year (end of 2009), and he gets a job, hopefully in Canada or Europe. I'd rather Canada, because it would make it easier for me to visit him. Then, he snuffles out jobs for me in the city he's in or thereabout, and a year later, I fly in to see him. He proposes around this time, and he REFUSES to tell me anything about when or where or how! but I suppose that's expected. xD He gets an apartment and starts furnishing it pretty like. In mid 2011, I graduate and hopefully have a job offer where he's staying.... Right now, we're hoping for somewhere like Toronto, or Edmonton, or somewhere around there. I rent myself a little room, and we spend a happy year or so both working in the same area or city and preparing Kit's apartment for when we get married. We'll save up all our kittenmoney, make lots of friends, find a church, and lavish lots of love on each other, because our long years of long-distance will be oveeeeeer. xD In 2012, hopefully on July 24th, we marry <3 I'll move into his apartment, we'll hole up for about two weeks for the honeymoon, and then we'll go tramping around the world, having wedding receptions. xDD We owe y'all that much! Right now, we're about halfway through. We've been together almost two years, and more than half of those years have been long-distance. Another two years like this, and Kit will be close to me, hopefully - close enough for me to visit him anyhow. Close enough to be on the same continent. We're not much of a whirlwind romance, but we're very happy just dating. That ring is so pretty. ^^ I like unusual rings.
I remember you telling me it'd be a few years, but if you've got plans in action... ;D I'll always be able to ooh and ahh over that!
But those plans, so cute. ^^ I like that you know in advance that he won't tell you any of the details! ^^ I hope it all works out how you want it to. And that seems very sensible to wait until you're stable to get married and live together. ^^
