I went through a phase, when I was active on Neo, of bookmarking every random, little-known link I could find. Some from old plots, most from old pieces of news, some just found at weird and wonderful places around the site. I still have them. And now, I'm documenting them for your clicking pleasure. There are 56 in this list.
NOTE: Some of these links may be broken or nonfunctional. For some links, only part of the page remains (ie, the text is there but the images are not). Some are, of course, more interesting than others. A few are useful. But all were somehow interesting to me at one point or another. I've tried to organize them somehow, very, very roughly. But for the most part, they're just in general disarray. I have left out links that can be accessed easily from the main site (such as the Mysterious Statue in Maraqua, TDMBGPOP, and so forth), and those that are so well-known that there is no point in showing them.
General/miscellaneous links
Neopets Press Articles--contains articles written about Neo, dating back to year 1 or 2. May no longer be working.
Wadjets and Ladders--based on the Snakes and Ladders game (obviously), a game that doesn't show up on the games and doesn't award any NP.

Neogarden with a massive collection of gnomes--WARNING! This link can cause computers with slow internet connections to crash, and will probably even cause fast internet connections to run slowly. It's worth it to see this, but be careful that you don't have anything important running first!

The Neopets Cometh--the old "get you interested in the site" flash, around for as long as I'v ebeen a member. Still has the best sound of any flash they've ever done, I think.
Battledome Faeires--old page with broken images of the Faeires, when they were released to the BD. Has links to quick bios of each faerie. (NOTE: When I go to this page, I get a window saying that I need to log in as a Neo admin. I click cancel until the message stops coming up, but I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do.)
Cellphone accessories--presumably gives you access to backgrounds for your cell phone, if you register properly.
Neopet Makeovers--yet another (quite a bit older than the last) April Fool's prank where the images of neopets were "changed." (WARNING: MAY CAUSE SEVERE MENTAL SCARRING. APPROACH WITH CAUTION.)
Neopets in happy meals--another link from the McD's promo.
McDonald's Plushie Checklist--large list of all the plushies released in McD's happy meals. (Let's see, I have the Starry PB from the '04 promo...)

Plots, in chronological order
Original Sloth plot:
1: Sloth Plot Trailer--has sound at the very end.
2: The Truth Behind the Grundos. (Doran? My favorite piece of archaic Neo trivia!)
3: Space Faerie Missing--part of the original Sloth plot required users to adopt 20,000 grundos.
4: The End--ending animation of the Sloth Plot.
Sacrificers--old Neo plot where staff members were killed off one by one. Has fun little animations that Neo definitely couldn't make today.
Ski Lodge Murder Mystery--jeez, the Neo staff sure got killed a lot way back when. This is a fun read.
Neopet Version 2--make sure to read the solution, along with the flash installments.
Original Maraqua plot:

Brucey B and the Lucky Coin--another classic old plot, this one on the discovery of the Lost Desert.
Usurper--whodunnit plot about who killed King Coltzan.
Coltzan's Shrine mystery--plot about recovering Coltzan's crown to return it to Coltzan's Shrine. This link can also be accessed from Coltzan's shrine.
Champions of Meridell--plot centering around the discovery of Meridell.
Battle for Meridell--plot centering around Lord Kass's power grab and attack on Meridell. In my opinion, has the best storyline of any Neo plot.
Mystery Island Volcano--several notable Mystery Island denizens go missing. Following the puzzle leads to a conspiracy.
Hannah and the Ice Caves plot--the first plot to be done entirely using comics.

Lost Desert Plot--my favorite plot in terms of puzzles, the first plot to require mass participation and teamwork.
Temple of 1000 Tombs--one of the most important locations of the LDP.
