So...some blobs with a ph of less than seven are moving across to destroy England from the Netherlands? It is like a particle accelerator accident without the strangelet (or is there a strangelet involved?) ! Either way, that should be fun to watch.

But once they've dispatched with England, they'll whizz on up to you. So you've been warned! Anyway, on that cheerful note, hi! How are you this fine afternoon?

Nah, they will most likely shrivel up as soon as they hear bagpipes. I'm pretty good this 'fine' afternoon. And how are you? They are dangerous acid blobs. It'll take more than a bagpipe to scare them off. I guess from your 'fine' that it's not all as fine as it appears. But I'm not too bad, thankies. Keeping busy.

In that case, we better start stocking up on alkalis to neutralise the blobs. Then we can pick them up and burn them. Well it can't exactly be a fine afternoon if it is raining because fine implies sunshine. XD Good to hear that you are keeping busy but if you want to continue to keep busy, get out while you still can! This place is a hive of procrastination.

I've fresh out of alkalis at the moment, unfortunately. And I'm not very good at burning things. Well, it's nice and sunny down here. Has there been a day when the weather's been the same for both of us? I swear it's always raining at one of our houses. It's good - I'm doing physics papers between 'bloid posts. It keeps me focused on the papers. If I disappear for a few minutes, though, it'll be due to an exciting question. Or the Internet failing.

Take a match, light it, throw it at whatever you want to burn and run for your life. If you want to go onse step beyond, get a blowtorch and use it to light stuff. That's Britian for you; It is always raining somewhere on the island, what with it being a maritime climate and all that. Focus and 'bloids do not mix, honestly. So feel free to disappear at any time.

So feel free to disappear at any time. Right. *takes match* *lights it* *throws it*. Don't worry, I decided to switch off just before "at whatever...". I think I know it from there. ...hey, it's getting very hot in here. Yay for Great Britain! Focus and 'bloids don't mix, but exams and getting stressed over little things do - and the 'bloids tend to ease that. I mean, in the past ten minutes, I've stressed out over not being able to do a question, not being able to find the folder with my notes in (despite it being in my bag about four feet away), not being able to find the notes in the folder and the Internet going. So the 'bloids is nice relief, just to be able to, in the words of Mitchell and Webb, "click on 'What I Reckon', and then simply beating on the keyboard with your fists or head"

Argh - I've now discovered the thing that's worse than not being able to find your notes. Finding half of them, when they should all be together - because now I know that they're not, and I have no idea where the other half is. Ho hum.

That is probably why it is getting hot. Don't worry, you can always try next time. Yes, what better way to relieve exam stress (AKA: Headless Chicken Panic) than to share it with other people? Oh well, whatever works best for you. Oh so that is how you write your posts? Hmm, original. XD

First of all, take the advice of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Don't panic. Secondly, think of the last time you saw your complete notes and from there on, mentally retrace your steps. Pick out particular locations where the notes might be and search them when you have the chance.

I have a lot of lessons I could learn from this experience - although I'd better learn them quickly. It's not quite headless chicken panic. It's just a lot easier to descend into that. I prefer doing revision in short, sharp bursts - I tend to learn more then. Five minutes doing a question, learning a few facts, and then do something else for a couple of minutes, give it a chance to sink in. Lather, rinse, repeat. Indeed. xD. gnijdhuickghitfjigfoicljkgtrdoif

(Didn't take long) Er... last time I saw them was at school a week or so ago, when I lent them to a friend. And then he gave them back. So, in summary, they could be... anywhere. Excellent. Ah well, I just won't bother with that part of the course. If I remember correctly, most of it was just mechanics anyway, which I can do.

The trick is to fill the bag of experience before emptying the bag of luck." This certainly applies to burning things. A good tactic indeed and truly prevents a "The more I know the more I forget" conondrum by allowing the mind to absorb the revision all while keeping stress down at a managable level. Of course drawbacks do come into my mind but I better not mention them... *tries* zqwsapoik;+ (here my computer goes into standby)...I didn't see that coming. xD First of all, take the advice of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Don't panic. Even so, I suggest you write what you know about the mechanics down just in case.
