Normal clothes wouldn't be hard to make, either. All TNT would have to do is take an already-existing fairly-normal clothes item, like the 'Non-Ionising Lab Ray T-Shirt' for example, and fill it in with the color they want. Or if they want to make of an item that doesn't exist yet, with a bunch of different color variations, they'd just have to make the basic design for each pet and then use different fills after that. Well, they do have the Altador Jersey and the Destructo-Match shirt, so it seems that normal clothes aren't completely out of the picture. Plus, they've made wigs for Skeiths and Korbats, as well as that poofy wig in the Mall, and the hairstyles from some Desert and Disco pets, so at least we know the concept isn't completely out of their mind. Some tasteful hairstyles would be kinda' nice, but I hope they don't ever go into nasty anime-hairstyle mode. And I've always kinda' wondered why they never made multiple color versions of the same clothing item. I mean, why just a Blue Newsboy Hat? Couldn't they have just as easily made Red, Green, and Yellow Newsboy Hats as well? I'd love for them to make a set of clothes in all four basic colors, and have them at low rarity for all those basic color pets.

Admittedly, I'd like to see some more wigs, too. 'Twould be interesting to see the sort of "plot character"-style pets around the site. =D As well, I really, really want this item to be made wearable: But that's mostly just a personal plea. xD Actually, there's a whole bunch of old items I'd like to see made wearable. But as for the lack of "normal" clothes so far -- I think what TNT may be doing is starting with the fashion extremes (faerie, evil, tribal, haunted, etc.) and filling it in from there. They had to start somewhere, and I suppose doing it this way would make sense. I dunno. I guess we can only wait and see. :3

You know, that's one thing I don't like about species-only sets - it guarantees that somebody with a different species will never be able to get an outfit like that. It's just sort of unfair, if not inevitable. I don't like that either, since a paintbrush would really help complete the painter set on my Buzz. But I guess the species specific things makes each pet have something special, as well as reducing the work on the artists (since they have to do less pictures for each item).

Yeah, the species-specific sets are probably so they can make lots and lots of clothes and not have to draw for every species. After all, a recent Editorial had said it can take days to draw a clothing item for all 54 pets. If the artists had to make every clothing-item available for all species, we'd have far fewer clothing choices than we do now. It's kinda' like how the Royal paint colors are all different, and one pet will get the Greek look and the other will get the Asian look, and sometimes it doesn't fall on the species that you want it to. I think eventually some of the themes will have to overlap, or else they'll run out of ideas. XD

For example, the Grarrl Sleuth set: if they want to make that for all the pets, they could just remove 'Grarrl' from the item names and announce it's now wearable for everyone. But then it will massively inflate, because there's going to be fifty times as many people who will want it, and even if they increase the restock rate, it's gonna take long for it to deflate. The other thing they can do is create new items that are the same as the Grarrl set but only wearable by more species, but then you'd have multiple items with the same picture and description, quite confusing. So that wouldn't work either. So I don't think species-specific clothing is going to become all-species any time soon.

No, I think she means that there would be a Grarrl Sleuth set and a Mynci Sleuth set, or something of the sort.

Well, I kinda' meant they'd just release an all-species sleuth-looking hat, but it'll still look different from the Grarrl one, that way Grarrls will still keep their special sleuth item, but other species can also get a sleuth look. .... Of course, that's when they run out of clothing-theme ideas, and they don't seem to be running out any time soon.

I won 150 NC at the Expellibox for the first time, but got overexcited and spent it right away on a Cloud Capsule. It had a Pant Devil Bopper. Bleh. I should have saved up for an Expellibox background. There's no NC gift option yet, is there? I gave it to Firecrafter for now. On the subject of capsules, does anyone know about the Halloween Capsule? Ringling_Thingling's page says that it gives an Appetising Caramel Apple, and it's labeled as Special, not as wearable. It's also the only item that the Capsule holds. Anyone familiar with it?

The apple is a hold-item, and the Halloween Capsule gave you any Halloween-themed item. I bought two, and got Here Lies Fluffy in both of them. XD

Ooh, there's a new superpack out: Miss Tennis Pro Superpack. And it looks great on Razeal! Hey, all the shop pictures now show the Elite Boutique's shopkeeper. xD Edit: Now it's right again. But I dressed up Razeal as a Summer Lady. I wish there was something where you could dress up your pet with NC and NP items mixed. That would be awesome.

Tyra is in desperate need of some real clothes, and I kinda like this ensemble:

So you can see how your pet will look with it's current clothing when you paint it Darigan, you see? Canada is getting NC cards? Good for you! ^^ It's gonna be a long time before they get to Europe, though...

Ah, I see what you mean. ^^ I agree, that's something that I would absolutely love -- I dunno where they'd put it, though. xD It's not exactly Rainbow Pool or NC Mall material. But. Still. I'd love to be able to try on new wearables before deciding to go out and buy them on impulse. Yes. ^___^ But don't worry, if Canada's got them, I'm sure the Neopets homeland in the UK is on the way, and after that, it shouldn't take too long for other countries to follow.
