I started out tonight with a measly 24k. I've now made it to 28k (woo!) and I'm determinded to make it to today's mark (31,673) before I go to bed.
So I really shouldn't be posting here right now, because I still have a lot of wordage to make up! =D
EDIT: Just hit 30k, MY WRISTS THEY BLEED

Yesterday was great. Yay, 6k word day. Woohoo. Skies are blue and medows are full of flowers just for me to skip through.
Today = WASH OUT
I've been struggling just to churn out 1k. ;_;
And I'm still about a day behind.

I smell success! *sniff sniff* Or maybe it's cookies, it's sometimes hard to distinguish between the two. =/ ANYWAY. So my 10k-ina-day challenge is actually going surprisingly well - I just broke 42k, and I actually only need 4k more until I WIN my 10k Challenge, and 8k more until I win NANO!! YAYAYAYAYAY HAPPY BUNNIES RAINBOW SUNSHINE ROCKY MUSIC! =D *runs away to write more* *and yes, drank more than a few cokes today in case you couldn't tell* EDIT: aiiiiiii!!! I just did 10K-INA-DAY! Whooooot! It was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. During my first experience with Nano I got horribly behind and ended up pounding out 10k in a day to finish, and I remember it behind a terrible, terrible experience. This was FUN! =D Now I want to finish this novel - and hit 50k - TONIGHT, because there's something incredibly romantic to be about finishing a novel in the dead of night and wee hours of the morning. Alright, must stop gloating and return to the novelling. Can't wipe the insane grin off my face, though.  |
