A semi colon ( ; ) is used to attached two sentences together... I think. Here's some examples:
The semi truck roared down the highway at 140mph; which is pretty fast for a huge vehicle.
I felt a twinge of envy when my friend got a B on her test; I'll never get that high a mark.
Something similar to that.
