It only VAGUELY feels like King Kong to me. I think it's really just a throwback to 1900's adventure movies, which covers all of those movies: King Kong, Indiana Jones, The Mummy, etc. I AM EXCITED!!! Am I the only one to notice the Stargate reference in the first panel of the first part of the first chapter? I am SO glad I wasn't the only one that thought of Stargate! I didn't notice the reference on the board, but the first couple pages were TOTALLY Daniel Jackson's introduction in the movie. And for everyone that thought of "Atlantis," I would just like to point out that also is a rip-off of Stargate. Milo is, in fact, Daniel Jackson, whom I'm going to marry someday. He just doesn't know it. |

Then, to mix things up a bit, They'll be able to travel in timem and be called the Skelads, which totally WOULDN'T be rip-offs of the Daleks. Then Hugh Laurie will walk in and discover some incredibly unlikely disease. (I don't suppose you watch House as well?) |

They both fit a fairly similar genre, but that doesn't mean one is a copy of the other anyomore than Pirates of the Caribbean is a ripoff of Treasure Island. ...
