Hmmmm, I'm placated! NeoStaff really bank shot this one, as Pyro and many others have said already, one second we're all addressing the new layout, and BOOM! We're all shocked with a new plot. Once I found out about this, I had to drop what I was doing. Komori's right, the character's seem to have more reality, because they seem to have a certain amount of depth. Maybe it's the professions (Ship captains, professors, etc.). Ever since Neovia, the characters, items, worlds in general have had potential for this kind of depth. There's a lot of potential in 19th century settings. I like to call it the Missing Link between Technology and Magic in Neopia. As for this puzzle, it's breaking my brain. Here's what I've got on Puzzle Two... Anyone seen this? TWO ANCHORS! I had two anchors in that one too! ... my puzzle was a bit different, though... but yes, that's evil. T__T

It only VAGUELY feels like King Kong to me. I think it's really just a throwback to 1900's adventure movies, which covers all of those movies: King Kong, Indiana Jones, The Mummy, etc. I AM EXCITED!!! Am I the only one to notice the Stargate reference in the first panel of the first part of the first chapter?

*laughs* Yeah, really. Why would we put these things in tidy little squares? MIP=Mysterious Island Plot. Right? *sighs* I have no idea if it's a new world or not...I was thinking Lutari (they DID say they might release it sometime in the future to the public) but, as people have said, there's a lutari character plainly visible. (And I agree, he seems like a slick character, like the kind of person who'd love to do anything for profit. The xweetok daughter looks cool. ) So, probably a new island. Know what I was thinking the first time I saw the comic? "Atlantis". Milo explaining the theory and the Icelandic translations...

How great would it be if this island has an Island of Dr Moreau feel to it? That's the first thing I think of when I hear of a Mutant Island.

Know what I was thinking the first time I saw the comic? "Atlantis". Milo explaining the theory and the Icelandic translations... *grins* You too, huh? ^^ M'kay, I metioned this to Ginz, and she said I should also tell y'all. Everyone's (okay, so not everyone) is saying that the Lutari is the bad guy/whatever. What about the daughter? She could be the bad guy-er, girl!

I say the Jubjub surprises them all and leaves them marooned on the island for being Fairweather's lackey. He's got no hands!

Roxton = good. *nod* I dunno, I think the word "scoundrel" fits him pretty well from my first impression. He really gives off "Gone with the Wind" vibes. Gah. Okay, I told myself it wouldn't come to this, but if anyone wouldn't mind giving this one a try, I would be deeply grateful. Pondering it for an entire day is enough pondering for me. Thanks so much for any suggestions you might have. ^^;

If anyone it trying to solve one with 3 vertical bags, 2 horizontal bags, two tackle boxes (one vert, one horizon), one NW mop, one SW mop, one SE mop, a Z shaped rope pile, and a thunderbolt rope pile (My descriptions sux), then I've got the solution here.

What do you see? Sometimes I think I see Sloth, other times I think I see a platapus with spikey hair. which would be a nice mutant, I think. Platapuses are weird anyway.
