Yes, I'm willing to eat my words. I was mistaken. HOWEVER, I'm still sure that this plot cannot be gleaned from the TCG cards, unlike EVERY OTHER PLOT that occured since the beginning of the TCG. AND I'm sure this isn't the reason that HW won the Altador Cup! (Which was the whole reason I was upset in the first place! >_<) "Tales of Woe" is indeed a book (and not a very useful TCG card. :/). Oooh, more than one story WOULD be really cool. And it'd totally explain the hodge-podge-ness of the TCG expansion. Maybe Ilere of the Woods'd be a villain of another story. She's incredibly pwnful. XD

Well, all we've seen is chapter 1, so I'm withholding 'cliche' judgment until some more chapters come out.
I will say that reading the first chapter, while listening to the soundtrack from the Jekyll and Hyde soundtrack is ... really creepy.
And Gilly! *squee!*

Hehe, cliche or no, I'm totally gonna be all over this plot like white on rice!

I don't think that TNT can get it through their heads that a heroic, charming character doesn't have to be a Lupe. -pokes other plots-

I hope nobody needed the TCG to tell them that Krawk selling the potions was a villain. *g* The in-story cues are pretty well laid.

I recall his TCG card saying that he used dark magic...but I could be wrong.
EDIT: And Sasha the Dancer is included in the TCG set. Yay! And also, I love the colonial feel that we get from the setting and attire.

Maybe. Different clothes, though. I think so. Pink with blonde hair. Looks to me like she is in her night clothes.

Hm...I was looking at the deck again and I noticed Sophie, but doesn't she seem....younger in the deck than she does now? Wait....they mentioed Reg and Bruno having a sister, but we haven't seen her face. OMG!!! WILL THIS BE SOPHIE'S BACK STORY?!?!? Gosh, I hope so! I love her! If you zoom in on the last panel, first page, she does sorta look like Sophie, and since they hid her face in both places where she appears...you could be right.

And Sophie is indeed reading that very book in her TCG card. I always just assumed that was the name for her spellbook. XP

XDD That's what they get for TCG spoilers.

Well, it does seem they tried to tone down the spoilers quite a bit, when you compare them to other plots. Of course, they could always pull a "Razul" out of their hat in the very end. n;)

Yes, very true. We'll just have to see. *is excited about this one*
