So... did it die? The last post was like... 2 weeks ago. The last post also didn't really give people a lot to go with as far as making new posts was concerned... >.> If we want to keep doing this, there's a few posts that need to be made- first, Mindy weaving Wandy's Kyubi tails into a dreamcatcher, then Rider (I think it was something to do with Ventratta), and then Mindy getting eaten. If Mindy's first post offers me something to do, I'll do it; otherwise, we get the reactions after the death, and start writing out the key posts (death scenes, etc.) for the rest of the story. Of course, if we didn't want to do that, we should probably move the Murder Mystery board to be a subboard of Memory Lane or something, to show people that we quit... >.> |

What's supposed to happen next? From Rider: [glow=red,2,300]The Fourth Bit: His solitary hunt for the killer is taking its toll on Stal. Stal gets really mad and explodes at Spot. Ventratta becomes convinced that Stal is the killer. Mindy captures Kyubi-Wanderer and uses his tails to weave a ginormous dreamcatcher. Mindy eaten. (SB) Spot nearly killed with ninja weaponry. (SB) Lycos keeping close eye on Stal, Spot and Chelsey. Crystal claims ownership of the ninja weapon. Severed tie with Sev taking obvious toll on Ikkin. Rider enters verbal conflict with Crystal, and asks the weakened Ikkin for backup, but Ikkin can't help. The Fifth Bit: Nimras stabbed to death with a pen. (OT) Defends herwelf with a cheese grater; odd fibers found in it. Crystal killed with a cutlass, no body found. (AS) Ikkin found at AS, scene of crime, kicking wall and screaming and babbling senselessly. Rider is the first on the scene, and she appears to be wiping her hands on her cape. Spot steals Wandy's hat. Stal nearly killed by Ventratta and his cooking knives. (SB) Wandy seems to be amused by the fact that Stal nearly got done in by a Meepit. The Sixth Bit: Spot killedby a shoe. Wandy’s hat found at scene of crime, perched on head of leopard-rug. Devastated, Stal accuses Ventratta. Rider and Ventratta, emotionally hurt, sleep in AS, alone. Rider killed with ninja weaponry, and the room burned. No body found (obviously). Ventratta escapes and relates info to the surviving mods. Finale: Ventratta pinned to the wall, dissection-style. Ikkin goes completely MIA. Lycos tracks Stal down in OT, pounces and tries to rip his throat out. Wandy tranquilizes Lycos. Ikkin finds secret, magically-hidden passage to MS, finds Crystal’s body (which has clearly been dead for a while.) Snaps completely. At around this time, we open the questions up to the forumers. Who is the killer? We set up a poll. Ikkin/Sev, Stal, Lycos/Spot, Kyubi/Wanderer, Ventratta/Rider, Tracy's Doofishness, or whatever. Once the votes have been tallied, we come up with a creative way to expose the real killer depending on who they think is the killer.[/glow] |

Merf. When I first posted the floofeh dreamcatcher thing I wasn't taking into consideration that this was a murder mystery and how freakin' obvious it would be ^^;
Unless of course we're aiming for obvis at this point but considering what we still need to cover I doubt that n_n;;; Gimme about 2 more class blocks and a klondike and I'll have something new

Somewhere in the dark ruins of what was once the Cosplay and Craftiness board a little leopard girl sat upon a shattered chest of drawers poking through the tattered contents. In her restless slumber Mindy'd chewed through the one blanket she salvaged from the quake and now tried to search for some worthy substitute. But alas among the shattered wood was only stuffing laden with mildew and some pink tutus that'd had probably been crafted by Nick. Sighing and leaping back to the ground Mindy curled up on the pleathery remnants of Horserider's Tifa Lockhart cosplay and licked her paws trying to coax out the numerous splinters. Glancing across the floor several other costumes now lay sprawled in moldy shreds. Her own Tao Jun dress among them and even Komori's once admired and revered Sophie costume had been decimated. "Everything just keeps falling apart..." she murmured as her eyes fell upon a scrap of familiar tartan. Perking her ears in curiosity Mindy prowled over and tugged on the scrap from under the rubble and pulled out the half-finished kilted Berard doll she'd promised to make for Crystal eons ago. A sadness came over her expression as it brought back memories of a time when the NTWF had been a place of enjoyment and freedom. A place where wars had been meant for the sport rather than slaughter, where post counts were altered with non-lethal intentions and her parents always found a way to smile even when the odds were against them... Turning the bald expressionless ploosh over in her paw she wondered what happened to the faux fox fur scarf she'd wanted to use for Berard's hair. Scanning the ground Mindy spotted it peeking out from the corner, or was it? No wait fluffy synthetic scarves weren't supposed to sway back and forth on their own. Shifting into stealth mode Mindy crawled up closer and closer to the swaying mass of floof only to spot more and more poking out from around the bend. In the middle of a cleared patch of floor Wanderer sat hovering over the heavily clawed and gnawed remains of his beloved red hat trying to ease its wounds with needle and thread. But unlike her mother Mindy's focus lay not on the headgear but instead his nice floofy kitsune tails. Her eyes grew wide and glassy watching each sway slow and carelessly in an almost hypnotic manner. Back and forth they silently went this way and that completely oblivious to the calculations and geometric theorums running through Mindy's frantic imagination as a devious little grin curled across her lips. With the stealthy ninja skills that would be expected of Kiddo's successor she suddenly sprung up and began searching hurriedly yet silently through the board for anything to suit the task. Finally she came upon a ginormous embroidery hoop miraculously still intact and large enough to be used by a Heartless Large Body as a hula hoop. grabbing onto her prize she lept up and grabbed a splintered rafter and swung along until she hovered right above where the FFI/Naruto smash up labored away. With an expression of maniac amusement poised on her face Mindy lept down and moved in to strike. ***** Ya. I phailed at Creative Writing last year Okay there's a start but I realized as I began to type the next paragraph that maybe I could start with that then some other meanwhile posts can be sammiched in there or I could wait a few hours before posting the second half just to mess with the current suspicions :3 |
