I have it all translated into a language I can understand (Rider, you shoulda known anyone obsessed with you-know-who would guess ), now I just need to work the stupid riddle out.

For anyone stuck on figuring the riddle out, I'll use a little Harry Potter reference.

Remember the sphinx's riddle in the maze in book 4? Think along those lines when you're trying to solve the riddle.

I was absolutely lost on the thing before my sister pointed out what the last line had to be. So I go "score!" and started to work it out the hard way.
But now that Frogs posted I realize what it is. Wow, just by reading a thread with barely any hints and lots of offers of help, I get a major clue. Now to use the translator and figure out the actual riddle.

I figured it out with Fraze's help. To be honest, I thought it was harder than it actually was which made me do it completely wrong. x)

But I think Rider's the killer. And Ikkin's like... Watson.

Gah. I remember the Sphinx. But that won't help me until I can get this thing into normal English -- most of the code decryption methods I know don't work, and it's not in angrams... *mind whirling*

I just figured it out. And like Zylaa, I got my head start when my sister and I figured out the last line (creepy coincidence... *shifty eyes*). From there it sort of fell together. And the riddle itself -- all too easy. ^_^

I think I solved it. Of course, what the answer has to do with anything is another question...

Oh, another thing that'll be helpful in solving this riddle is if you've read a lot of Redwall riddles.
How on earth we're supposed to make any sense of the answer, though, I'm clueless. Any other clueless people want to talk it over on PM?

Yeah, Redwall helped a lot. I think that aspect was the reason I decided the books were getting repetitive, actually. As for the actual answer corresponding to the answer from the puzzle from the clue... umm... I guessed.

I didn't even really know what kind of range I was choosing from.
