Oh it would be fair! ^^ Everyone would be able to win, I assure you. ^_^ It's also a bit difficult, what with everyone in different timezones... I'll figure out a solution.

xDDD The thing is, that this is going to be a bit different.. each new "story" will be out of 1 of 3 themes: Neopets, Real-World, NTWF. That way it suits people, i mean some people don't play Neo etc. etc. So hopefully it will be a bit spread out. ^^

Granted, I'm still looking for a solution for it not to be like a "contest" since I'm not online all the time, i'd hate to turn down a good part for just they weren't first.. >.> Know whatimean? Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated. x3

Maybe we can do something even bigger... like a story with more than one continuation! Like the Neopian Adventure Generator, for those who play Neo. XD

One beginning, and then maybe two second parts, and whoever wants to write a third part can write it for any of the seconds parts...

... You know what? When I thought of it it sounded awesome, but now that I'm actually writing it, it sounds way too complicated. Nevermind. XD

Actually, there's a website where you can do that - start a 'choose your own adventure' story, and people can come along and add parts to it. I'll see if I can find the website.

Good ideas all. ^^ I like the idea of a new thread where all people can participate... (Even though all they have to do is make a post "can i join?" and boom, they can participate. xDD)

Although there would be some rules I'd like to make.. but I wouldn't be able to enforce them. xDD But we're a good bunch of people, right? ...RIGHT? <.<

Okay, for this Storytelling thing, I think that it's a good idea in theory, but it could be very hard to handle. The people at the end of the list could get bored of the story and not follow, resulting in their forgetting to post that part of the story. Or, if someone's assigned to write a part in a certain amount of time, but they're bogged down with schoolwork, that would create conflict.

I think it could work, I just wanted to bring the counterpoints up ^^.

xDD I think you got the wrong idea, but it's understandable. ^^ We won't be going in order as such in the list, it will be up for everyone. ^^ Example:

Let's sat I start, then B puts up part 2 30 minutes later. Then... 3 hours later, A decides to post the next part. Then Z puts up a few minutes later, then B wants to do another part... etc. etc. And the way i see it, non-club members can do post parts too, 'cause the more the merrier. ^^

Although i'm not sure if we're allowed to make another thread for it... >.>

What if you take a long time typing out your entry to make it as good as you can only to find out someone posted a continuation already? *is a slow writer*

Do you think the idea of reserving spots would work? You post saying *Working on the next part* so no one will beat you to it, then edit with the actual part when you're done?

Of course, there would have to be rules for that... like, you can't reserve unless you plan on writing the part right then, even if you do take 2 hours (example). Wouldn't want someone to reserve and keep us waiting for days. XD;;

AHA. That was on my mind today, and i was thinking of something like that, but your solution is good. ^^ We should probably have a max time after you reserve... such as 1 or 2 hours. If it takes longer, then someone can post the next part. ^^
