Naaawww L is prettier. He just has the sort of face that just screams, "HUG ME." Yep. Light's not exactly "hug" material...with his wanting to kill everyone and all.  L is adorable and hawt at the same time. You can't beat that.  [shadow=purple,left,300]But I find Light adorable when he proclaims his dreams of becoming a god. And Miyano Mamoru does one heck of a job on his voice. I can't ever imagine anyone else as him. I haven't seen the sub, so I didn't know Miyano Mamoru did his voice until I was looking up a list of voices he's done. XD I guess it can be easy to like him when Miyano Mamoru does his voice, I bet he sounds sexy great. The dub on the other hand...well, let's just say Light's voice is done by Brad Swaile...the same guy who did Quatre's voice in Gundam Wing. XD (and L is voiced by the guy who did Kid Icarus's voice in the Adventures of Captain N XDXDXD Okay, its only funny if you've actually heard Kid Icarus >.>) |

I like Light's English voice, though. ^__^ He sounds so cool, especially when he's being crazed.

Haha. A (male) friend today told me someone said he would look good dressed as Misa. The mental imagery cracked me up. XDXD But he'd make a hawt Light.

Ooh, I must join! I've read the first 11 manga volumes... I was getting them from the library, but I'm fifth person waiting to get 12, which is driving me crazy. I may have to buy it. I'm afraid of getting the ending spoiled, like a certain event in volume 7 was spoiled for me. Anyway, L is awesome, except for his voice in the anime.. but my friend and I agreed that we probably wouldn't be happy with any voice for L.. It's just too hard to get it exactly right. And he's so awesome.  |

Yeah, I had the thing in volume 7 spoiled for me too.  But it was spoiled long before I ever thought I'd read the series, so I didn't care at the time ^^; see, I usually like lighter anime and if it's too dark it wears on my nerves. But Death Note was an exception to that, the storyline is too engrossing and in-depth... it's one of my favorites now <3 I wasn't intending on reading it, but my friend had the first volume and offered to lend it to me once at school. I had nothing to read or do that day, so I accepted and I was hooked. XD |
