I am definitly in. Whenever I'm sick (or healthy!) I read Calvin And Hobbes until my eyes pop. Or just short of that. Popped eyes=having to learn to read braille.

*Resurrects the club* LIIIIIIIVE! So, I just found a Calvin and Hobbes tribute on Youtube. It got me all nostalgic, kind of made me realize just how much of an impact that comic strip had on my life.

*Club Goon raises to life, chases Fraze around and makes more Club Goons*
>_> Couldn't resist.
I've read these since I was little. It was where I first learned the word "anthropomorphise".
Cal: Mom, are you crying? Mom: I'm cutting an onion. Cal: *something about cooking being hard when you're anthropomorphising your vegetables, I forgot the exact wording cuz its been awhile*

Ahh, Calvin and Hobbes. I remember reading my dad's books of that over and over when I was younger. Haven't seen any of the newer ones, though. *racks brain for which books her dad has* Um... the Killer Snow Goons one, one that I don't remember the name of... it was something about aliens on Mars or something. And then the Homicidal Jungle Cat one. And... the 10th (I think) anniversary one. Ooh! And Scientific Progress Goes Boink! ;D Um... and I think a few others. That's all I can remember though.

I love Calvin and Hobbes. We have almost all the books, because it's my Dad's favprite comic strip, and I love rereading them.

Heh, I was just reading Calvin and Hobbes a couple days ago. I think we have... six books... or we might have eight. Are there that many? My mom's been considering getting the boxed set from Borders, actually. We've been stalling on it, though.
Calvin and Hobbes was one of the reasons I started to read. My mom couldn't read to me all the time. XD *remembers sitting in her kiddy chairs and reading it* @__@ Good times.
*joins, if it matters*

Calvin and Hobbes. <3 I think we have all the books ^_^ I still want to get the Boxed Set though... Shame that it's so expensive. I'll join, if we're taking members. xD

I have to share this with all of you, taken from Wikipedia:
This made me crack up. I'm still laughing about it.

Wow, I didn't even know this existed! I read all the books in Dutch, and they're (for the most part) no less hilarious. xD

Yeah, this board gets revived for about three days for people to reminisce and then promptly dies again, so...*ducks out*

Andrews McMeal Universal (the company that publishes the books) made a copyright claim to the tribute and made Youtube take it down. A shame too, since I would have liked to see it.

I love Calvin and Hobbes! Sign me up. This is one of my favorite Sunday comics... but I have so many favorites it would take forever to list them all. XD I own Something Under the Bed is Drooling, Scientific Progress Goes Boink, Revenge of the Baby-Sat, There's Treasure Everywhere... and one other one I can't remember the title of. It's the one with Yukon Ho! in it.
