Not all. Across all Smash series, there's the two that you mentioned from Melee (Pichu has little to no chance while ICs are iffy) and two others (Wolf and Snake) from Brawl. And from what Mewtwo got after it was released and from what I've been seeing on the 'Net, expect Roy's moveset to be similar, if not the same or modified slightly Oh right, Wolf. I knew I was forgetting someone.
I didn't count Snake because he was sort of a special deal, a guest character. He has very little chance of ever coming back, especially with all of that Kojima drama recently. |

Don't forget dem Amiibo. X3. I totally didn't expect the Mii Fighters to get their own figures. I really hope they're not hard to get, because I am SO modding them into friend and family for Christmas gifts!

They'll be hard ;_; So unless you snipe them in preorders, no one is getting anything, like normal. It's a shame, I reallllly like Amiibos. I'm a sucker for figures like them XD I got anime figures like them. The added game functions is a big plus. All the ones I want are just impossible to get now without paying high prices, which I refuse to pay >.> |

So I played the new characters today at my friend's house. Roy is... Great XD Ryu is awesome, a bit tricky if you do the commands to do things, but pretty good XD
*no comment about Lucas*
Also, we only played on the new Miiverse stage today... Mostly since, it's not going to last. They either have to really get on watching it and taking down things before they get in the game, or they're going to do something. We saw some VERY questionable messages floating around in the back XD

I've been participating in the hunt since the beginning. Subscribed to three separate Amiibo-related Twitter accounts, active participant of Now in Stock's website. Managed to get Jigglypuff, Greninja, and Ness. Really, by "hope they're not hard to get," I'm mostly hoping they aren't the rares for their respective wave. If they're about as plentiful as a Wario, an Inkling, or even a Jigglypuff, I'll be okay. |

Hey quick question you guys, should I purchase the DLC characters now (US$3.99 for Mewtwo, Lucas and Roy each with US$5.99 for Ryu + Suzaku Castle) or should I wait to see if they'll make a DLC characters bundle (with hypothetical Ballot winner)?

*shrugs* Who knows if they'll make a bundle at all?
Playing most of those characters, they're all pretty good or like how you would remember them from melee (Mewtwo and Roy). So it's pretty much up to you.

I was hoping that if we got something related to the Tales of series that it would be a character, not a costume... Hopefully they actually put in Lloyd (or someone else like, I dunno, Zelos or Sheena) in there as actual characters at some point. |

Looks like these costumes might have been popular characters in that survey thing, but ones that the Smash team decided for whatever reason that they'd rather not make into fighters.

Update is now available in the eShop. In addition to the 6 Mii costumes previously announced on Twitter over the past couple of days (Chrom, a Flying Man, King K.Rool, a Bear suit, Lloyd Irving and a Hoodie), there are a couple of stages (Peach's Castle and Hyrule Castle from Smash 64), two additional Mii costumes (the Black Knight from Fire Emblem and Samus' armour) and a free Mii Costume (K.K. Slider, previously a Japan exclusive).

Now there's a Fighter Bundle #1 featuring Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, Ryu and Suzaku Castle. Hopefully they'll introduce 4 more DLC Fighters later but I dunno. |
