Aw, I wish I could've entered the silhouettes contest; that would've been fun. ^^ Well, I'll try to get into the next one. ^^
*drumroll*
And the winner is.... *folds out a piece of paper*

NUT!
Congratulations
Review of Nut's piece:
You bent the rule in a very creative way, and your reference to the artistic theme is very original.
It's what I like to call 'Meta art' (art about art). And I also liked how you made the artists paint in the colour corresponding to the person next to them. Very creative, and very original.
What to work on:
Try focusing on the the anatomy in your next piece. It sometimes helps to look at yourself in the mirror. The yellow girl's right arm, is a bit too short. If you stand up and rest your arms, your hands will reach midway on your thighs.
The shadowing of clothes and objects in this piece is superb! And I really admire how you pull it off with crayons. I especially like the blue artist.
The perspective is good! Nice angle of view, and it's really good that all three characters aren't posing in the same way.
One thing though.... when you're viewing from the center, the left side of the canvas is only visible on the right canvas (the red artist's) - the middle canvas shouldn't show its sides at all, and the right canvas (the blue artist's) should show the left side instead of the right side - unless of course, you ment for each artist to be in their own seperate room
Love how the tables are different too! So many details, and yet so easy to 'explore' ^_^
Your prize:
Choose either a Neopets prize (I'll find you something) OR request a piece of art from me, and have the option of getting it sent to you IRL ^_^ (Swap Team member, eh? )
Followups are:
Ginz - Tess - Belle
I know I said there'd only be one winner, but I really want to reward you for your efforts:
You will get a constructive review, and you can request a piece of art from me - anything goes ^_^
I'm honored. ^^ Thank you for the lovely long constructive review, Leoness. ^^ Yes, I really must get out of the habit of showing the tops of things that I'm looking up at. I'm trying to draw from life more these days, to see what things really look like. ^^ I didn't notice that little anatomy problem with the girl; I'll have to look into that, too. I'm glad you liked the picture, though, and I was hoping someone would notice the different tables. ^^
As for my prize... I'd be honored to have an art request by you, Leoness. ^^ I think I'll have to skip having it sent to me in real life, though, as my parents would probably get slightly creeped out about that. n:P So... I can ask for a drawing of anything? ^^
Oh, and I loved seeing the entries that went into this contest! Belle, I liked how yours all fit together into a story. ^^ Ginz, I loved your entry; the pictures of the elements were so pretty. ^^
I'm going to try for the next contest, but I don't have my own computer or scanner right now, so if they don't come in time, I may have to wait some more before I can get any art on the Internet.
