I watched all the episodes in Japanese on my computer Than afterwards I saw them ine nglish at my cousins house. I just want the next season to be made... [glow=red,2,300]I'd rather she churned out the manga faster. ^_^ The manga rocks the socks off the anime. *ought to start working on her Mary-Sue for the contest... or something*[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Since this thing is dead, I've come up with a good discussion question.
We all know that it's the cat's goal to beat the rat, but what exactly does "beat the rat" consist of? Pinning him down while the ref counts to three? Knocking him out? Worse?
Does it have to involve violence? Could it be a race, like the endurance run? If the cat won the heart of a certain young lady and triumphed over the rat in that respect....[/glow]

I guess it would mean outdoing the rat in everything he does, and ultimately taking his place in the Chinese Zodiac.[/shadow]

I think to beat the rat, he needs to actully gain the respect of the rat, and gain a place in the Chinese Zodiac somehow. Since it was the rat who kept him from getting into the zodiac, or kicked out, depending on how you look at it. Something that I've been woundering since I watched the series, and read some of the manga (internet is my friend for the manga ) When exactly is the year of the cat? Every other zodiac character is born in their year at one point. I need to read the manga more to understand what happons if another person is born in a year <.< But the cat is still a mystery. My only guess would be that it's mixed with the rat somehow, since Yuki and Kyo are roughly the same age.

Sorry...not in the club, but >____< (please don't beat me up)
I think Kyo has actually subconsciously gained respect of the rat already. Although Yuki "hates" Kyo, they are more passive, and I guess arguing with each other is probably a sign that they acknowledge each other's existence ^^;
How do I join Fruits Basket fan club...? o.O

Draco - really? I hadn't thought so, since Ayame, Shigure, and Hatori are also all about the same age... and so are Haru and Momiji.
Sei - you just ask and I'll add you. ^_^

XD OK, so today was the first snowfall of the year, and I say to my friend (whose name is also Jen and she's also a Furuba fan) " Me: When the snow melts, what does it become? Her: ... Me: This big honkin' mess that we all have to drive in! Kana would be so dissapointed in me if she heard all of my, "What does it become" jokes. ^_^[/glow]

I have just finished watchign all 26 episodes of Fruits Basket in English, and am still in the process of waiting for my bookstore to get in the 4th volume of the manga ^^
I heard you guys talking about another season? Is there one being made, or is it just you guys wishing?

[shadow=purple,left,300]Ayame+Shigure+Hatori group = pwn. ^_^ Well, judging from how the last episode ended - I mean, with Kyo's true form being revealed and all and Tohru learning how to accept him for who he is and the Sohmas dealing with Tohru dealing with their family problems, there may not be much to make into another season. [/shadow] The manga does, though. It goes way past that event and um... lots of things happen. >_> *hasn't actually reached that point in the manga yet* But yeah. Even though some events (like Ritsu) in the anime were pulled from later volumes, it's still possible. But still - these ARE just rumors and wishful thinking. Even if a second season is possible, it's not been confirmed or even hinted at by anyone official.

Ah! Ok ^^ I do hope they make one, but I have yet to catch up on the manga. Which manga does the anime go up to? I have a feeling 6 or 7, but I may be wrong ^^
