Yep. I'm Capitalising, just for the sake of...looking tidier, I guess, rather than taking faster... Well hello internets. I am Zari's neighbour. Never fear, I am roughly sane compared to that poor Flying Ocewhatsit Clarinetist. (To said person: See! I can capitalise!) This seems like a nice place, but I'm only here for GW2. Being roughly sane, not a writer artist etc. and generally rather busy. Zari's computer is very polite. I think I'll steal it. Rough Summary of Message: Hello. I'm Ferdamei (for now, my name is actually Soap.) Hello Ferdamei. Welcome to the forum *pokes* Don't steal Zari's computer, she needs it to post. Edit: *reads your persona description* Wait, Za-za? xD *cat-cloned* Okay, I'll stop.

You've never played Burper in Timon's and Pumbaa's Jungle Games, have you? >> Um...no. >> What's that like? Strife, I thiiiiink it was on a CD-ROM >>;;; My games come from... other sources, yohoho and a bottle of rum. As for the blarf, his back consists of built-in steel plating. We suspect his race is the result of some old experiment gone wrong. So it's mainly random-shaped steel plates all over the back, with spikes poking out here and there (most of them molten by now), and tentacles between those plates. And wings :3 Four tiny little wings that can hardly move and aren't useful for anything. But we haven't completely mapped out his body yet, yep, go post on the blarfthread in the guild, people. As for stones, there are the stones and rubble that fell on him and got stuck in the molten metal >> You'd probably do us a favor by removing them; then again, they'd work nicely as extra shielding at this point. Fact is, I've never given it much thought, but he's probably able to grow more of those spikes (otherwise it would've stayed the same size when he grew up, and he'd only have this tiny little patch of steel in the middle of his back, because originally he was the size of a horse). But that'd take about as long as growing bones.

said the captain, glancing at Deri with the kind of look women always reserve for spitting males. I actually meant "spat" as in "spat the words out like poison", not literally spitting, but whatever.

Now that's the kind of cue I was waiting on. :3 *goes to see what she can do* EDIT: Aanndd posted. *anticipates reactions*

[glow=red,2,300]Bacon, were Jord, Kyve and Deri surrounding the Commander from the beginning? I pictured them all together, thus making it harder for Kyve to come up behind me.
I'll go along with it, though, because I need something to take me out of the RP for a week. I'll most likely be without internet from the 16th 'til Easter.
EDIT: You are allowed to commit acts of violence on the Meepits as long as you don't kill any of them for certain. For example, cutting them with your swords is OK, but no saying, "Jord sliced a Meepit in half."
I know you probably know this, but attacking a soft pink Meepit is different than attacking a blarf. XDDD
EDIT 2: What's the effect of the energy around the blade? Anything special? [/glow]

Eh, I misspoke. I meant Kyve was coming up from behind Jord, who got a head-start.
EDIT: There's not really much of an effect of the energy shield, other than making the blade stronger than an average metal blade. It may be possible to either wear down or disable the sheild, though. The shield generator is located in the hilt.
EDIT2: The marines probably won't attack the meepits much, since they don't percieve the meepits as more threatening than bunny rabbits. Again, these marines aren't necessarily the smartest people.

[glow=red,2,300]'tratta would be offended. XDDD Okies then. Thanks. <3 I'd edit to fit what you said was happening, but I wouldn't know how to do it and still have the same effect. >.> *evidently wants to be mortally wounded* [/glow]

Erf. As it is, I can't see a way to keep Fraze out of the action, but I'm gonna be gone from tomorrow-ish until the 22nd or 23rd. I mean, I could just have Fraze go into lurk mode (read: cloak and stay out of the action), but there really isn't much of a reason to do that yet. And it'd be pretty hard to knock him out, short of getting blarfed. I mean the blarf could snack on him and he could stay in said beastie's stomach until I get back from break. But even for the purposes of the RP, the prospects of coming back out--through either route--aren't appealing.

...Y'all don't necessarily have to knock your characters out while you go on break. XD; You can just not post for a while, and then insert yourself back in afterwards. Makes weird gaps in the space-time continuum, but eh, time's already been established as not flowing properly in this RP. *shrug* But to each their own.

True. But I guess just get a mental image of Fraze standing still, looking blankly at nothing while people toss spells, swords, and asplodeys at each other. (Which amuses me, but that's beside the point.)

*scratches head* Well, as captain, Hunty so doesn't appreciate everyone getting involved in her negotiations (read: accusations xD). So the most likely thing for her to do is to yell at everyone to zip it and let her talk and cut the spells and swords and asplodeys. Except that the 'fleeters attacked, and she has no reason to stop the pirates from defending themselves. Lovely bunch we all are x3
Fraze, just find a way to get distracted :3 You just forged a more-or-less-truce with the pirates. Make use of internal moral conflicts and whatever. Not to mention, turning against Hunty is one thing, but turning against Hunty after a more-or-less alliance means a blazing bloody hell and other assorted ugly things, because nobody - especially pirates - likes traitors. Which is about to be demonstrated on PFA once I get the time to get a post up >>
