This made me think of Toy Story: "...stun rather than kill" (about the blasters). What is it with Spacefleet and the Disney references? XD First we've got Commander Pumbaa, now the soldiers stole Buzz Lightyear's blaster/laser-thingy settings. x3 The only thing that would make it better is a Beauty and the Beast scene between Strife and Leo. =3 For once, I have a mental image that I can actually enjoy. ^___^ And FYI, the blaster settings are actually a Star Trek reference, but yeah, it could work in the Buzz universe too. xD *watches Buzz Lightyear of Star Command on Toon Disney*

Maybe they could both be Beasts. *runs*

[glow=red,2,300]It's probably more a respect thing. That, and being founder? Like, since he's the founder, and since he hasn't tried to kill us all until these past few months, we respect him. Now that he is trying to kill us, well, he's had this seat of power for so long that it's ahrd to make him let go of it. "Take me to your leader" made me laugh out loud, though. No lie. XD [/glow] All of you are wrong. xD I just worded that sentence the wrong way. Strife originally gained his position of Master Commander through an uprising against the former commander, which I won't go into detail about until Leoness and I begin our origins story. So in that sense, he did gain his position through strength, as well as intelligence. In GW2, he's hoping that Hunty isn't as strong of a leader as he is. Just a quick notice: Juggling all of my characters all takes time, so I apologize in advance for those who are waiting for me. ^^; All right, that makes more sense. I never thought Strife was the founder--it always seemed to me that Spacefleet had been around for a while, just like all of the other guilds. For one thing, it seems like it'd take at least (pretty much pulling a number out of the air here) 50 years or so to build up a complex, technologically advanced institution like Spacefleet--especially when you consider that they apparently have members from a number of different star systems. (I have a feeling that Haggoth isn't from the NTWF, and several of the Spacefleet members--Fraze included--come from outside the NTWF.) Then there was that thing way back in the early days of the RP where someone (forget who) found that slip of paper about the seventh guild of the NTWF. Which implies not only that there are six other guilds, but that they've all been around for a while. Now, it could be that one of the guilds referred to was one that is no longer around, but that doesn't really fit with the story.[/tangent]

Spacefleet HQ, I would like to note that Bluisa is currently residing in Celestial's shadow and is currently unseen.

Spacefleet HQ, I would like to note that Bluisa is currently residing in Celestial's shadow and is currently unseen. You'll need to make a mention of that in your next post with her, since guest posts in the RP cannot be edited. ^^; But it's a minor detail, so i'm sure it won't be an issue with HQ.

*Gawks* You know Quenya? That's awesome. Not exactly. I figure I'll probably use it writing more often than IRL, so I've been going through a course someone made (I'm a little over 3/4 of the way through), making a 'notes' file, and using the notes, and a Quenya-English/English-Quenya Dictionary from the same site. I know more about how the Quenya phonetic/grammatical rules work than what the words/prefixes/endings are. Yeah, names based on the unofficial NTWF creature language are pretty confusing . . . Seline -- Snow Princess Demene -- Child of Lightning and Water Sev -- Temperamental Pyromaniac Lord of Flames(?) And many others. :/ What unofficial NTWF creature language? I actually did 'Child of Storms'. There actually was no entry for lightning/thunder in the dictionary I used. I also have… Arcollo Nainië (Lament of the Highborne) Heren Ninciolvo (Order of the Stick [lit. 'Order of the Small Branch']) *makes on the spot* Heru Nár(i)o (Lord of Flame )
'Snow Princess' would be Aranel (Princess) and then either Lossë (Snow-white), Losso (of Fallen Snow), or Fáwo (of Snow), take your pick.

Although often overlooked, the Stormtroopers' E-11 blaster rifles have a stun setting. This is only seen once in the movies, and is referenced very seldomly in other media. The following scene comes from Episode IV, A New Hope: Princess Leia: *sees stormtroopers* Stormtrooper: There's one! Set for stun! Princess Leia: *shoots a stormtrooper and runs away* Stormtrooper: *fires weapon; a blue ring of energy shoots out of the weapon and hits the Princess, sending her to the floor* She'll be alright. Inform Lord Vader we have a prisoner. Honestly, sometimes I think I'm the only one here who's seen those movies. Edit: Fillerish-post to remind you my main persona exists, if anyone's forgotten. I know I almost have.

Well, Hunty was more or less appointed in her position by the former captain after going through an apprenticeship (read: being the de facto leader because Rider was never present xD). So in that sense, she doesn't exactly have the voice of the crew behind her (though there was a chance of arguing with the decision). But thou shalt not underestimate a chick who's able to boss a blarf and a rabid meepitgang of anarchists around >> Just like thou shalt not underestimate a rebel who managed to get to power and stay there. Same boat, eh, Commander? xD

Um, Ikkin, the company landing on the deck of the ship doesn't make much sense >>; The captain isn't currently on board and Sev knows that, and the ship would most likely boot the Commander at once, which wouldn't help matters (especially if it got him killed in his current state >>)
I'ma just going to assume that they landed next to the board outside, yesyes? :3

Erm, Ikkin, can I just assume that Sev extinguished the flames? I don't think Fraze would want to interrupt these talks just to ask to be put out.

Hunty, before I write my next post as The Commander... Is the gem still in your pocket, or is it with Leraye? In either case, The Commander is about to get an enormous burst of energy from being so close to it. But if it's with the captain, he'll be able to feel its presence.

Yeah, I kind of assumed that, actually. It's in the pouch on Hunty's belt. This oughtta be interesting xD
