Hey, Ikkin, don't nessecarily think of the guns as real life weapons as much as video game weapons. Anybody that's played a Tom Clancy game knows that it takes at least three bullet wounds to actually kill you. More than that these aren't even bullet-launching weapons, they're laser-ish-launching weapons, and in the video game world those tend to do even less damage (except for headshots). With this mentallity, you don't necessarily need to dodge every gunshot. [glow=red,2,300]That only works if we treat everything else as video game weapons, which we haven't been doing. I don't see how lasers are less harmful than bullets, but I'll take your word for it. XD *confused*[/glow]

"I feel pretty, oh so pretty I feel pretty and witty and gaaaay! And I pity any giiirl who isn't meee todaaaaaay!" ... *dies* Fun fact: that song always reminds me of this comic by Oddhatter, mainly because I haven't otherwise heard the song >> So now my brain has this real fixed mental image of space-Fraze-Legolas. With a pointy witch's hat, due to the barrel x3 Why must I always suffer from a serious lack of scanner whenever I get such ideas? e.e Hmm. Draw it now, scan it later?

Does anyone else think Haggoth both looks and sounds (in terms of temperament and name) like Hoggish Greedly from Captain Planet? ...*Stifles laughter because roomie is here* I never saw Captain Planet... and in that case, that's a very strange coincidence. xD Speaking of Haggoth... Vyt, Celestial, try not to godkill him in the upcoming struggle. ^^; I gave him a name and appearance because I want him to last for a little while. As long as Surly lasted, at least. xD I won't kill him, Haggoth is an interesting characters and I really want to see how long he lasts if defenistrated (joking XD) how he will react when we escape. XD As for the NPCs with guns, I'll figure out how to avoid them if they shoot at me. A little practice never hurts. [/inside joke]

Blasters do less damage because bullets are solid, they actually have substance. Blaster shots are just focused light and/or plasma/heat/radiation/goodness-knows-what-else; that's semi-solid at best. It's about as comprable as an axe to a fire spell. The former peirces, the latter burns. The fatality of the attack depends on the user(axe/fire), or the type of gun(bullet/laser). In this case, we have weak blasters. That's my theory at least.

...Kat, how are you in the throne room? I thought you'd gotten stuck outside fighting Cyborg and them, and then stopped to get your leg bandaged before going inside? *really wants the spatial anomaly to go away, because it's confusing her * That's exactly what I thought happened as well. I was under the impression that nobody else was in the throne room aside from The Commander, Ikkin and the marines. I don't think I should post until you clear this up for us, Kat, because if you really aren't in the throne room yet, you wouldn't have fired that stream of purple flames at The Commander. *is majorly confused*

Strife, does the room Leoness is in have windows? Because if so I'm going to see if I can speed things up a bit over at Mage Manor.

That's what I figured, Ikkin. xD Although to be honest, I don't see The Commander being in any condition to talk to her after his battle. If he's defeated, he'll probably retreat until he can bring more reinforcements to the surface, heal himself, and get a few more space toys to prepare for his next battle. Strife, does the room Leoness is in have windows? Because if so I'm going to see if I can speed things up a bit over at Mage Manor. Yes. ^_^ She's currently resting in one of the guest bedrooms. I'll explain why once I start posting with her again, but it would definitely help if more Manor posts were made.

*checks*
Rikku hasn't posted since the 29th; her username says that she's away (as in right now it's "Mercenary Rikku - away") but I don't see a thread on the Forum Gates. So no idea when she'll be back. Rikku, Drakhe's waiting for you. D:
Nature last posted on the 2nd. Again, no thread on the Forum Gates.
So yeah. Anybody know some way of contacting them?

Rikku, Drakhe's waiting for you. D: Poor Drakhé, so lonely... *brick'd* ...why the fail?! D:I did a check on Rikku's post history. Apparently, she's on a week-long trip... considering she would have left on the 1st or 2nd of March (for us; we're in similar time zones), I think she'll be back on/by the 8th or 9th. Which, in my mind, translates to "UGH LONG WAIT D:"
