Yea, I think we've semi-fixed the Spacefleet issue. The to many commands being thrown about and not enough free will has dropped fown form Strife and fallen to me, the original complaintant of the issue XD But I was suspicious Bacon wanted in on the air battle soo... I hope I'm right on that one and in hind sight should have checked with Bacon first. >.> edit: Well, at least me and Strife now both have a whack of obediant NPCs to satisfy our military need to tell people what to do XD *Points randmoly at one* You there! Fetch me a glass of milk and some cookies. It's for a top priority mission! Hop to it soldier! *points to another one* You! Take this basket and clean all of my socks. That's an order, soldier!!Couldn't resist. xD Seriously, though, I think the marines have been a good idea so far, since we can dish out any orders we want to NPC's while leaving the real Spacefleet officers freedom to make their own choices in the plot. Just keep in mind that we have about 20 in total, not counting the ones who are at the dropships. And Kwoiff, that picture is quite... 'shippery. ^_~

The ship is my most powerful weapon, and it isn't exactly as portable as spells and guns and swords are, so I haven't really had a chance to use it yet. (Not even in the Spacefleet RP)

...guys, we make War sad D:
At this point we've been having seventy pages of prologue, and no Guild Wars to speak of. I remember all this fuss about overplanning back on the days, but at this point it looks like we underplanned. There are no sides to speak of. The Fleet is being bad guys (props for that), the Invisibles are being bad guys (more props for that), the Pirates are generally stirring trouble and doing their own thing, Mercs are standing around, Mages are having tea, and Knights are present-not-present. Could we get some general frothing at mouth and waving swords/staffs around at some point? People are lurking into the castle, so there's a perfect chance to flock in and shoot people so that everyone could blame everyone else and we could get more frothing at mouth and waving things around. WWI started after they shot the prince of Serbia, it shouldn't exactly take much >>

WWI started after they shot the prince of Serbia, it shouldn't exactly take much >> WWI was a bad example because there was a combination of factors and the shooting of Archduke Franz Ferdinald (Who was the heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian empire) was the straw that broke the camel's back. *gets out history notes* WWI started because of a combination of factors: Nationalism, Alliances, Militarism and Imperialism. Kaiser Wilhelm II has promised Germany "A place in the Sun" AKA: A colony in Africa. but that meant he had to challange Britain and thus a naval arms race began between the two countries. There was also anger at Germany from France because during the Franco-Prussian war, France lost the territory of Alsace Lorraine to Germany but they wanted it back. This created tension between the two countries and made France sign a treaty with Russia and Britain while Germany signed a treaty with Austro-Hungary and Italy. I know that wasn't very clear so the short story is this: There were many underlying causes for WW1 and one of the prime causes lies in a previous war. If I know correctly, GW1 was tied up in the end. If any of you could resurrect a conflict in GW1 which wasn't resolved, we might put the War in Guild Wars.

Right, Austro-Hungary >> He was shot in Serbia. I keep mixing those up.
And that's more or less what I meant x3 We all have our reasons and excuses (revenge, the gem, seeking for power, all that). What we don't have is Ferdinand. A.k.a. an official reason, or the straw that broke the camel's back. Or, well, I did blow up the castle, but it looks like the camel's stronger than I thought.
...some fine irony there. People all over the world and throughout history have struggled to end wars and bring world peace. We're struggling to get to a war, and aren't getting there xD

Thing with bombing the knights is that most of the knights are MIA. >_>; Of course, a lot of the guildspeople are MIA, so... yeah. I think a good part of the reason we aren't fighting each other is because we're trying to have war with friends. XDDD;; A lot of the characters know each other in one way or another, so we have to get past the friendship and into the burning hate. It isn't an easy task, y'know? But yeah, if we can get some angry people, that'd be good. We need more anger, 'cause anger leads to hate. *ponders over straws to make* >_>

Plus the cruise-ship is made of metal and not as flammable. >>

I'd love to stir up trouble, myself. But as it is, I can't really do much to further that goal without acting way out of what would be expected from my character. That is, I could shoot the Prince, but I don't really have any reason to do so just yet. I think that's true for most of us, really.
Though if Ikkin can get down to the Castle, I'll be happy to fight.

Someone, please, seriously tick Surf off. At this point in the roleplay, that's the only way I can get some action going without being out of character.
And I do agree with Hunty, we do need some action. Surf just can't attack the pirates right now because she doesn't want to die. Unless she gets angry, where she defies her better senses.
