[shadow=purple,left,300]Okay...what's the big fat army up to again?[/shadow] [glow=red,2,300]The grunts are mostly wandering around and making war. The bulk of the army is towards the sea, in their ships. The officers and their escorts are on Cap'n Rane's ship, preparing for Leraye's trial. Which isn't gonna come. 'cause they're getting shot at. Yeah. >.>[/glow]

Hey! I'm too skinny, underfed, and crazily dressed to crash through! *goes off to draw more fanarts and probably sulk too*
Besides, I'm a wallcrasher. It's my job.
AND IT'S THE TABLOIDS FAAAAAUUUULLLLTTT! *attempts to wail, but voice won't go high enough, and wanders around looking stupid for a while*

If you're of the type that actually reads my gargantuan posts, here's a few points that I tried to work into the narrative but ultimately failed to do so. Ergo, here you go. The letter, if not obvious enough, is from Ethan.
The "power that’s allowing them [the Invisible Guild] to remain unseen and hidden" that Naft Ali mentions is not the same device that Marzia crafted to remain invisible. The latter was in fact a device that kept them invisible to the Manor, so that it would not dispel them or, worse, kill them, whereas the former is the magic that keeps them and their castle invisible and magically undetectable until they chose to be seen. This power is essentially a different manifestation the power of some later released souls to possess people, but because the Invisible Guild's split from the stone was of a greater proportion than the possessed souls' splittings (which were, in retrospect, merely cracks in the stone), their power was of a greater magnitude and of different capabilities. Because the entirety of the gem's power was broken apart when Sev that darned phoenix destroyed it, it is unlikely any of them will have any magical powers beyond what they already had upon being sealed in the gem.

[glow=red,2,300]Cyborg, taking control of gem-army people is encouraged. ^_^ They have nothing to do otherwise. In fact, feel free to adopt one. ^_^
Hunty, you're a tad bit obsessed with Terry Pratchett. You're not allowed to use footnotes for the rest of the RP. XD[/glow]

*looks at own post* I'm surprised no one else has tried attacking the ship simultaneously. All I see are single shots aimed at it.

[shadow=purple,left,300]I assume that everyone's attacking our ship.
...
Back to offensive magic mode again, apparently. XD[/shadow]

XD[/glow] But-a-but-a-but D: ...fact is, I only ever put the footnote because it broke the pace of the post when inside the actual post xD (Which is why people use footnotes in the first place.) As for attacking the ship, fact of the matter is, there isn't really anyone to attack us. Not only do ships generally need an officer's order to fire (in this case it's more of a guideline, probably) but a ship's cannons are on either side. Ergo, you need to be in the right position to fire. But with the entire fleet clustered together, the innermost simply can't fire (because they'd hit other ships of the fleet) and the outermost are drifting there with reefed sails, and no orders to hoist them and turn the ship to the right position to fire. Not to mention maneuvering a ship is tricky enough without a huge fleet getting in your way all around you. There are most likely cannons in the ships' sterns and prows with more maneuvering space, but deck cannons usually aren't as powerful, else they'd be too heavy to keep on the deck (wa-ay dangerous in case of storms) so they're not that much of a threat either way.
